Yes, MS confirmed in an interview with Polygon that external capture cards will work exactly like they do on the 360.

Based on 4 screenshots, this game looks beautiful.
Touche, good Sir.
I'll be sure to look up "gung ho certain."
@spaceg0st Let me get this straight...
You're complaining about MS finally including the things gamers wanted, and getting rid of the things gamers didn't want?
MS is showing us that they're listening to the feedback of the community at large. Would you rather they not?
I'm getting the feeling you wouldn't have liked their decisions regardless.
Did you really just complain about the headset being included for free?
I agree @golding89
I was also fine with the Kinect being required because I see its potential and am excited to see it in action.
I see this as a good thing though because there may be times where it needs to be put away. I just hope this doesn't hurt the developers in the long run by discouraging them from pushing forward with new ideas.
Hahaha! I see what you did there.
I hope Riley can be kept in your backpack and used as a secondary weapon. Kinda like pulling an arrow out from your sling, but it'll have hair.
This is getting old. For every article saying hardware won't matter, there's another saying it will.
Just release both early and let us decide for ourselves.
@lelo2play @fermcr
Did you even read the article?
It was about Amazon's new Android-based system negatively affecting the market for all consoles. It had nothing to do with next gen pre-order comparisons. There are plenty of Xbox One vs PS4 articles elsewhere.
Now regarding the actual article, I can't agree with their prediction. Amazon's new system may sell, but we're not talking about the same market here. Console gamers are...
I love how people disagree with a fan wanting to play a new game on his/her console of choice.
"I'm gonna ride a bike today!"
"I disagree Sir"
This is the first time I've ever heard of this "burning question."
I've never considered doing this and don't really care either way.

Don't want to point out the obvious here CRAIG667... "too well" btw
You're telling me I get even more benefits from my Xbox Live Gold account?
But how much more will it cost exactly? Surely it has to cost more.
No? Same price as now? So all the fuss about MS hiding behind a paywall is because of the initial cost of a Gold account, which I already have?
But surely I'll have to resign a contract and end up spending more money for all the features.
No? It automatically applies to...
@cabbitwithscissors
Strictly speaking about online gaming, will it be free for PS4?
If so, that's great. If not, why all the fuss about MS charging for it?
Just curious.
Let's go over the facts about what MS requires of gamers to get all the possible features of the new console:
1. An Xbox Live Gold account
Now, let's go over the price increase from a 360 Gold account to an Xbox One Gold account:
1. Exactly ZERO dollars and ZERO cents. ($0.00)
So, as we learned from the title, "be prepared to pay for the complete experience" gamers! And by prepared, we mean, make sure you pa...
I stopped reading after "The Xbox One costs $500 dollars"
Agreed @JokesOnYou
I think it was a more of a teaser video than a promotion. Also nice to see the headset is being included. I typically play with Astros for the sake of my neighbors' peace and quiet, but I'm sure it will be priceless for those not wanting to use Kinect as a mic. Nice to see MS doing the right thing.
Short-sighted ... Lol.
Right, because the internet was such a bad idea too. We should have stuck with mail.
If only to kill time and play this "Killzone" that the PS fans praise. But highly doubtful the rumor is legitimate.
EDIT: Also, isn't the PS4 coming after the X1 anyway?
