@xHeavYx
Regardless of the subject at hand, you are absolutely wrong in saying the past is irrelevant.
Past events/trends are absolutely relevant to predictions of future outcomes. They are not the only indicators, but they can't be ignored either.
Each issue that affected the last generation may very well exist in the coming Gen.
@ArchangelMike
Well said, truly. Bubbles up.
I will say this though, I do remember hearing Vince Zampella saying that because his team was so small, they decided to focus on only one console. Below is a quote from an IGN article on why they chose the Xbox One:
"It wasn’t until the cloud functionality that Respawn realized what it could do with Windows 8 and what would become Xbox One. “It allowed us to think of the game a little differen...
@Kurylo3d
Exactly what I was thinking. A player could be holding a controller or integrated hand sensors that control the horizontal movements, while allowing players to interact with their arms and hands.
Combined with the Oculus Rift, this could change everything.
...says the PS4 fan about an XB1 article ...
Pure irony.
That is a good point Feldman, but consider the possibility that Microsoft has some data out there that says many gamers don't actually watch much television.
If that were the case, why not produce ads that target the ones that do?
Smart idea IMO.
"Microsoft isn't catering to gamers..."
(during NFL's season openers)
What an idea. Cater to NFL fans during a football game.
Absurd.
News is getting missed here people...
"Starting with its release Nov. 22, Xbox One users will also be able to play games while listening to Xbox Music simultaneously..."
Awesome.
5 reasons I will never read these articles:
1) They've been done before
2) They've been done before
3) They've been done before
4) They've been done before
5) Sh*t gets old
Nicely put Jokes.
Couldn't agree with you more.
Nice point n4rc.
I think most gamers understand that online games can't be perfect, but it's great to see humility and honesty coming from the top dogs.
We are the cows, and games are the dairy farmers ...
They should give it away to one lucky fan.
@snipermk0
I think you're right as the button cues show the famous PS symbols.
I sure hope this game looks as good on the XB1!
My thoughts exactly corvus.
@Septic
I didn't mean to sound like I was attacking your post, so firstly I apologize. There just seemed to be quite a gap between the manner in which the article was written, and what was actually shown in the video.
For someone who is "just messing around with the Kinect" you wrote very detailed points on what is good and what needs improvements, as if thoroughly reviewed.
Also, I retract my Xbox comment at the end. Thank you ...
This video is very unprofessional, but gives a rare look inside an interesting topic.
I managed to stomach through the video, and I felt like the camera man's lack of familiarization with the controls is being translated into errors in design.
Also of note, the interview ends with them asking for an Xbox.
Hmm
I have the Elgato and it works great as well.
I'd say think twice about purchasing an expensive device if you're on a budget. I don't use the device nearly as much as I thought I would, although it has come in handy a few times.
I'm going all digital simply to avoid the lines and save gas. No real reason to get a disc anymore.
I think that's exactly what they're going for. I have a Windows phone and it looks identical. The theme/color can be changed (on the phone) but there aren't too many to choose from at the moment. I'm quite happy with it overall though, and many of the tiles are "live" which update as necessary.
EDIT: I'm only referring to the green tiles on the left, not the dynamic window on the right.
