I agree. It looks hideously cheap. Aesthetics alone, it reminds me of those plug and play games you see in Toys R Us next to the board games. Whether it functions like a champ, I'll reserve judgement until after e3.
0% to do with being associated with "soccer moms." 100% associated with a system that has 10 times the amount of this shovelware crap over core games.
How can you compare the PS2 to the wii? thats just ignorant. The PS2 is known as one of, if not the greatest system for it's core, great games. Will the Wii be as memorable? no, not even remotely close, in fact, it's probably Nintendo's worst effort.
ugh!.. it's crap like this that turns gamers away from these systems. If you want to sport some abs, join a boxing gym or lift some weights. This casual shiet is really a huge a turn off period.
Hate to piss on people's cornflakes but stepping on a Wii board won't do shiet for you.
for once I agree with this guy.
@dark-hollow
No, your getting disagrees for being a puss and crying about it. Stop getting your panties in a bunch man, i'm pretty sure you don't own Nintendo stock.
Just got my first VITA experience today. Sure I've wanted one for a while but I kept stalling. A friend brought it over and I must say, wow. Impressive to say the least. I only got to play MvC3 but even that game was really really pretty. The next exclusive that blows my mind will warrant my purchase for sure.
Ocarina of Time is widely considered a contender for best game ever. Wind Waker isn't. I'd take MM over WW too.
False. Most gamers (not fanboys) regard the N64 as a great system, even the Gamecube while not the best is regarded highly... So no, it wasn't ignored.
The general consensus is the Wii failed as a core console (before monetary numbers are thrown out). A lot of these people including myself are the same people who waited in lines for a first day purchase. For the most part once the novelty wore off it became a dust collector and unless your an absolute fanboy you'll ag...
I didn't buy it because i'm outraged.... that it's not Capcom vs SNK 3.
Of course people have reason to take anything Nintendo says with a grain of salt. As well as every rumor, analyst etc. Nintendo lost plenty credibility with the Wii. I wouldn't expect them to claim to cater to casuals and then core second. The fact you eat everything Nintendo says is well... Pure idiocy!
We'll see come e3.
@ Honky Kong, way to have no life and troll the hell out of an awesome looking game. kindly piss off.
I agree they don't need to show it, especially with that solid line-up and all the PSV games they'll show. But if they showed the smallest teaser, just enough to verify its in their plans, a little "hey guys we got this" it'd be more than enough to get everyone to cream their pants.
your fanboyism seems desperate. piss off.
Whether they actually learned is something to be seen. Good points on the casuals and core crowds. The casuals will follow trends hence the momentum going into the Wii, this time around I suspect a very different scenario. Nintendo would benefit by catering to the people that made them the company they are.
get the damn figures off my consoles! that's a terrible idea, I could only imagine the abuse they will do with pokemon.
boner much?
I saw that too, but I couldn't tell whether it was Nariko or not. rats!
shield and sword ready and waiting for the SSB fanboy horde.
You forgot the yellows, the blues, reds, greens, pinks, purples... magentas and just about every other color in the visible spectrum.
Yeah I bet the wii fitness game got you hard. Such a fail conference so far.. why nintendo? why...
