While the price seems a little steep for what it's offering, the real problem for me is the lack of metroid, eternal darkness 2, f-zero and so on. Like plenty of people on here, I'll just pick it up once Zelda comes out.

ZombieU and possibly rayman seem like the only interesting games on that list. Tank tank tank? No thanks. I get your name dropping exclusives there but those games are weak opposed to nintendos usual suspects.
Aggressive marketing on price drops, thus rendering the Wii U invisible to the casual market and making the PS3 and Xbox really enticing to people without those consoles.

Once these rumors get confirmed, then we'll see all these "characters" talk about how that doesn't matter. It's all about the games! Mediocre demands and expectations will never disappoint.

Maybe you should have let Nintendo know because their current "Pure Wii-U games" are severely lacking. An HD Pikmin and 2D mario are far from "beautiful visuals."
Any game really that shows this is a "next gen" system. An HD 2d mario and pikmin just doesn't cut it. I get the whole launch title thing. But maybe just a glimpse of something impressive would be great.
Both of which were fantastic games with Mario 64 being amazing. The same can't really be said about this line up other than third party games which don't convince me to buy a new system for.
