That party... So many people with the same hair, face and build. It looks really weird. I hope they use less clones and add more variations to NPCs, even the ones that are just there to make a crowd.
Aren't the chances of we crossing another player or finding the same planet as another player... Pretty low?
I could show several game covers that don't have credits in the front side.
That's not a real reason. You could keep playing the same game until the finish, instead of jumping to a new game.
I don't like the batman games, so it'll be easy to boycott. :) Although I confess I was curious to try this one, but guess I'll pass it. Maybe next time there won't be a PC version because of this.
No, no, no, no, no. Don't change the combat! For me, the changes in the combat are a big part why I didn't enjoy the more recent Final Fantasies. Keep the combat exactly the same! (Maybe allowing to skip summons' animations, now).
We already were shat upon by the recent FF and many other jRPGs that now only use hack & slash or horrible hybrid combat systems.
There's reasons why people want a remake of FF7 instead of playing the many medio...
How about making refunds available to >5$ games only?
This would mean that they're using the same old engine with a few upgrades. So that means bad animations and combat once again.
They were not known to be great at optimization. Where did you get that notion?
@BladesFist: for the same reason the other 95% should care about the other 95%.
One thing is for sure, the effort and cost of making a game that pushes the limits for those 5% of gamers that would be able to play it, it's not cost-effective.
And BTW, a trailer is not an equivalent of a random two minute section of a movie. It's a marketing tool to expose what the game is about or to give emphasis on what the game's marketing department thinks will entice more clients. So a trailer is very important, it's relevant and allows you to decide if it's what you want to play or not. I don't have to eat crap to know that I don't want to eat crap and that it would taste awfully if I did. (A review or a more in depth...
Although I can't say I know all japanese games, I don't think I'm far from the mark.
And using your own argument in your other post, don't say I'm this or that before you come live with me, learn my language and integrating with my friends. And only after years of experience, you may say something about me or my opinions. :P
It's creepy for a number of factors. The most obvious:
- Most characters look really young. Like 10-12 years old. Some with a woman's boobs, but still looking like kids.
- Usually they have very high pitched voices, adding to the effect of youth, innocence and fragility.
- Most situations, their moans and tears make it look like they're being hurt, manipulated, taken advantage of or just inexperienced (once again, adding to the effect of being very...
He said they look like under age, not that they are underage. Anyone can grab a picture of a 9 year old and say she's 30 years old, it's just the drawing style...
What tsunami? I like jRPGs, but they've been a little bit disregarded since PSX/PS2 days. Besides Xenoblade X and FF15 for WiiU and PS4 respectively, what other jRPGs are in the works (that will have western release)?
I'm not saying combat is the most important part of a RPG, but can be a deal breaker. Because most of the time, you'll be doing combat. Or doing things (crafting, looting, gaining experience) to help combat. So I can't just ignore a weak combat system just because of a good story.
Unless we're talking about something really extraordinary. But combat can put me off before the story has a chance to grip me.
Dragon Age: Inquisition is another gam...
I didn't enjoy the combat very much in The Witcher 1, buy enjoyed everything else, So I've played it and liked it. The Witcher 2, for some reason, I just couldn't get into it. The combat was worse (and that's a big no for a RPG) and the setting not very appealing to me.
The Witcher 3 seems to be better than 2, in terms of story and characters, and I like the open world aspect, but it looks like the combat is still weak in this serious, so I didn't pre-order the gam...
TW3 looks clearly better than Skyrim, even with mods. TW3 is much more dynamic and has much better animations. In Skyrim all looks somewhat stiff. Skyrim with mods can only beggin to compare with The Witcher 3 in still screenshots.
(Unless we're talking about models' boobs)
It's already confirmed that although the game box shown was for XBox One, the game was running on a PC.
This has already been debunked:
