It seems that you didn't need to buy a 1080Ti to play this game.

*sigh* I'm gonna have to wait forever for the PC version.

EMIX, you didn't understand. Of course I'm not saying you should buy a game just to reward the company. That's silly.

Also, I'm not saying to punish a company, but the game. If it's a "dishonest" company, but they do a good job in a game's release, that release should be "rewarded" with a buy, if it's a game you want.

For me, a good game includes more than just the graphics, sound and gameplay.

This was not just a case of people being overhyped and the game not being able to deliver.

There was some misleading trailers and interviews. This was fueled by Sean Murray, either with straight lies (like multiplayer, for example) or omissions (people were still wondering what was the game play pratically until launch day or leak day).

DLC can be done right. Checkout The Witcher 3, for example.

The main game took me 80 hours to finish (and I didn't do every side-quest). The two expansions add immensily to the game (easily more 40 hours). And all "free" if you bought the season pass. And it's called season pass, even if there's only one season.

And all enhancements were free, even for those who didn't buy the season pass.

DLC/expansions can be...

People aren't disputing the definition of "season pass", but it's existence at all. It's rare for a game to receive DLCs after one year past launch. The very few examples that exist, the "season pass" covered it. And most of them are online games, which require investment in servers, maintenance, etc.

I remember when it was said that we could contorl any party member in FF15. Now, apparently not. But if I checkout the season pass content, the...

If you want to be literal and are happy with it, I just hope Square-Enix takes a full year before releasing the first DLC and make you buy it, because it was released after ONE SEASON. :P

Just the fact that you can pause the game is an indicator that there's no real multiplayer.

Completed... Or ended?

Shining Force 2 is still my favourite console game ever. :)

You could control the other party members in Persona 3 (in combat).

It actually cooled off any hype that the "uncovered" might had induced me a few days ago. I don't like the combat system, and that's a huge no-no in this type of RPGs.

Is the release date for PC too?

It was GotY for me.

Damn, they changed the combat system. As if we didn't have enough realtime or phased combat systems in today's games.

I guess this won't be a day 1 purchase.

Why censor the left eye too?

I don't think the matter is about time to play videogames in the summer. It's the buying habits. Most people's holidays are in that period and most have extra expenses with trips/travels, eating out, going out more at night, etc. Also, many people travel and wwon't bring their PC/consoles with them. It's just a fact that games released in the summer sell less at launch. And publishers are all about that launch sales, just like in the movies the first weekend or two are the...
