I usually prefer turn-based combar on RPGs, but even find it odd they decided for this system on a Yakuza game. But since I like the combat system, I'll buy this game. Sometimes, all the talk on Yakuza can get a little bit boring, which was compensated by over the top action scenes (that's what's being old and a dad does to us: sometimes we play when we are tired, so we get sleepy too easy).
OTOH, there are already too many Yakuza games and spin-off with the ex...
I'll wait for the PC version. By then, the hype will be gone and will be able to know if the game is really good or not. Right now, opinions are too polarized. I've opted to buy RDR2 for PC, instead.
I've made several mistakes about trying to play games with poor gameplay, just for the story... And never finished those games.
He forgot to play the last episode, then.
RDR2 for PC and Death Stranding
I think Nintendo takes it very seriously about their products being family friendly. A web browser might be a bad window for innapropriate content for kids.
Which is not very coherent from them, as they said that they are looking into how to divorce style from stats when it comes to clothing, in that deep dive interview video.
I agree that FPV is better than TPV for immersion. Also, in TPV you can see and peek what you shouldn't be able to, in FPV (in-character).
However, forcing the cutscenes in FPV as well makes the customization of the character's appearance somewhat pointless.
I confess I'm not a fan of games where the enemies are bullet sponges and the combat feels like a MMRPG or Borderlands. That's a real concern for me, for this game. If the combat turns out to be disappoining, that will ruin the game for me. I've made the mistake of buying and trying to play games that interested me except for the combat, just to add them to the pile of games I've never finished nor even played to the middle, because I just couldn't ignore how I was not hav...
Also, always online, means less effort in creating a rich game with a rich narrative. The players make their own playing experience.
Unless they could pull off something like Larian's Divinity games, but I seriously doubt it.
They're afraid of piracy. And with Ubi's dear Denuvo recent failings, they decided that always online is still the best DRM.
It seems the only advantage of digital is for those who pre-order and "need" to play it as soon as it releases. Other than that, digital has more cons than pros. Except for publishers. Bigger margin of profits, as digital sales have less costs, but the prices are the same.
Me too, but with the physical copy. No hassle.
My guess for the reason the player and horse are so slow is because of game performance. The faster you can walk, the more polygons and textures per second the console has to process and stream.
Will it have a rechargable battery?
Fire Emblem is all that I need for my Switch this year
Not on Switch. I don't want a Persona 6 not using the PS4/XBone full capabilities due to Switch's limitations.
There's no 1440p TVs, so that's not hot. People are transitioning from 1080p to 4K. Advertising PS4 Pro as a 1440p console wouldn't be smart.
Well... If you don't take into account the PC version... :)
Why is this called roguelike?
Since FF stopped having turn-based combat, I stopped enjoying the games. I bought all non-mmrpg FF still. Didn't fisnish any of them. Kept being baited by the trademark and always think that maybe I can ignore the combat aspect for the story and other elements, but always find myself stop caring for the games, thanks to combat systems that I just dislike and don't engage me. The game becomes a shore to play and I end up stop playing.
I don't know if I'll onc...
