Things like this happen because Gamestop is far more interested in forcing frivolous garbage in your face as opposed to providing quality products.
The only reason I go to their reviews is so I can hit CTRL-F and see if/how many times "sexism" or "racism" is mentioned.
Kotaku just wrote a very similar article today...that seems...interesting.
This is the same Polygon reviewer that gave Ni No Kuni a 6.5.
I know people around here are like, in love with it...but I would say MGS Phantom Pain was a pretty big disappointment. The actual gameplay is good, but the story is pretty awful and the "open world" is basically just going to the same places over and over and doing the same things, over and over.
I really enjoyed the core game, I've finished it 3 times since it was released earlier this year. That being said, the new DLC is brutally difficult. And I mean difficult to the point where I don't know if I'm enjoying it anymore.
Metacritic user reviews are polarized?! In other news, the sun came up today and water is wet! Next at 11!

Don't really know why people are neglecting Bloodborne, it's easily my game of the year so far. And yes, that's after playing Witcher 3, MGSV, and (I'm in the middle of Fallout 4 so opinions could change). But still, Bloodborne is #1 as of right now. Or have you not played it?
Just in time for the promotional campaign...errr, I mean "beta" that only popular Twitch streamers got in.
You could just go play Battlefront 2 then? I mean, if you dislike it so much just go play the old game. I don't think anyone is stopping you.
Games coming right out and saying "multiplayer only" is fine and good, but I honestly don't think they should be asking $60 for what a lot of people consider to be part of a full game.
Some of their gaming articles are actually really good, basically anything by Erik Kain.
Unless it's Dota 2, or Team Fortress 2. There are always exceptions to the rule. It entirely depends on the company making the game and the respect they have for their fans.
So you would pay money for a game that looks fun but you refuse to try a game that you can play for free to try out?
Just go look at their Bayonetta 2 review and that will tell you whether or not you should read that website (you probably shouldn't).
A lot of people are assuming 2017.
Two words "outrage culture".
This just in, gaming blogger can see in to the future.
This is Tom Chick in a nutshell, he constantly presents an opposing point of view while picking and choosing (mostly) universally loved games to shit on. It's best to just not pay any attention.
