No, being more expensive isn't the answer to the problems of a system that can't sell itself without giving something away (like games and gift cards) or being on sale.

Scorpio is just next on the list of the moments that were going to turn everything around for Xbox and never did.
It's honestly amazing people think the answers to the problem of a system that has trouble selling with out giving stuff away like games or gift cards is being more expensive and launching a year later. All while releasing games at a slow drip.
On top of that, I have no idea why people are waiting for Scorpio, when you could build a PC today that will play ALL Xbox games in 4K.

Sony does not own the company and has little to no input on anything that goes on with development. They are given a demo and marketing materials from the company they are pair with and have zero idea what is going on besides checking on its development from time and reading the marketing materials provided. The trailers are even cut by the developers them selves or a hired company that has footage...
I can't even believe they keep saying this tag line with a straight face, with what they have produced this generation.
The console exclusives it does have have gaps of 8+ months between releases, while releasing only a few a year, that don't sell well or barely chart and don't have a console exclusive rated over 90 on metacritic, all while relieving the Xbox One of the actual exclusives it once had.

Exactly, for launching a new slim model, the sales aren't that great. Especially, when you factor in the fire sales on top of that.
It sounds like their main problem was the way it controls, which sounds very similar to Shadow Of The Colossus. This game sounds like a mix of ICO and SOTC overall.
The previews for SOTC were very similar to the previews so far for the Last Guardian, realising the beauty but being concerned for the outcome based on control issues and SOTC turned out amazing. TLG has had a more troubled development obviously, but I'm confident that it will turn out well for fans of the ...

Oh, I completely agree. I think it's embarrassing to have this little output this far into this generation.
Aside from launch, the Xbox One games have consistently came through the pipe as a slow drip. With all of the games being on PC, even Steam, I don't see a reason to own one in general.
Just for timing, GR2 will please it's target audience, but might get overlooked by the masses during the holidays. It's happened to many solid titles.
This generation has already been decided.

I personally think Forza Horizon 3 will be the only console exclusive to review well this year on Xbox.
As much as this sucks, it would have gotten murdered in October. This is a much better date. They should delay Gravity Rush 2 aswell.
