Nintendo being Nintendo, they have lost their mind.

1,2 Switch looks hilariously bad.

Completely agree. This console looks to be another Wii U. I'll buy one in a few years, like I did with the Wii U.
The only appealing thing to me that was a solid showing was Zelda and Mario. I'll just buy Zelda on my Wii U since the differences in the versions seem marginal at best.
It created some hilarious moments.

The problem is what you listed (aside from Forza 7 and Phantom Dust HD) is everything they have coming in the future.
It is one unannounced game, 3 retail games, 3 indie games and 1 remaster. This is the 4th year.
"The question is whether Microsoft's anaemic slate of exclusive releases is down, in part, to a focus on getting big titles ready for Scorpio's launch window. If so, it feels awfully like confirmation that Scorpio - though no doubt sharing Xbox One's architecture and thus offering perfect backwards compatibility - is really a new console with new exclusive software to match. If it's not the case, however, then along with clearing up the details of Scorpio, this year's...
It is obvious they have little 3rd party support. The reveal had a lot of ups and downs, but that was the most telling part of it.
The reveal was terrible. Zelda looks really good and it's nice they have a few big JRPGS in development, but it was painfully clear this system has minimal 3rd party backing.
Nintendo bringing the games.

Zelda looked fantastic and there was some great announcements for the future, but it didn't even seem like they have much ready to show or talk about, especially with 3rd party development.
It launches with like 8 games in Japan
Looks great

The Xbox One had it's best month ever and still got outsold by the PS4.
There is no spinning that.
The one good thing about the Microsoft PR is that they have moved their metric of what counts from the holidays, to a few months, maybe next year the whole year will make it into the goalposts.
@Jeff Grubb
Maybe not per NPD, but they just told people they were over 53M sold.
The XBox One S was big for them, just not big enough to win them the year overall or the holidays.
It did.

That's all fantastic. But it doesn't change that most of these indie games were shown in 2014, still aren't out and NONE of them even have nailed down release dates (or release month).

Here is the trailer.

With preorders it can also depend how how many they put up to preorder.
