Well that depends on how you look at it.
They have lost control of every territory they had last gen, have 10% of the exclusives the PS4 does, the gaming division post losses on hardware consistently, they have changed almost every idea the have tried to pursue with the consoles, they have terminated half of their studios, has pretty much no marketing deals, 1st party games have under performed, all of their 2017 titles are 2016 titles, they have limited indie support, have...
4K is growing fast but the overall adoption is pretty small, analysts expect it to reach 1/3 of US household by 2019, 2 years from now. That is taking into account it's faster adoption rate than HDTV's.

The Xbox One isn't irrelevant, but Xbox is not as relevant as they could have been once upon a time.
But it is all their own fault, they have made terrible choices all generation and the end of last generation.
