I've heard great things about HTC Vive, but it's asking price is pretty steep.
Yes! One of my most anticipated games. This looks and sounds so good.
It might just not be for you.
@4show
The surface tablets were only part of it. This is the announcement from the NFL.
http://www.nfl.com/news/sto...
"The NFL and Microsoft, through its next generation Xbox device, are combining to upgrade interactive TV viewing of pro football games in a multiyear agreement announced Tues...
Even though I get hateful replies sometimes, my intentions are not to piss anyone off. Thanks though.
@4show
Not true.
Phil Spencer brought about the NFL deal, when he was in charge of Microsoft Studios.

"Spencer and team led the development of brand new entertainment offerings including a landmark partnership with the NFL"
@Elwenil
Microsoft owns the IP's for Lost Oddessy, Jade Empire, PGR, Conker and Crimson Skies and spent 400 million on an NFL deal.
Who made the deal between Xbox One and the NFL? Phil Spencer.
Buying exclusive rights to games gets very expensive, especially for Microsoft considering how far behind the PS4 the Xbox One is.
That is the craziest spin possible at the possibility of Microsoft losing 8 studios.
I agree. Peter Molyneux was a huge supporter of Kinect and that probably got the ball rolling in the wrong way. But since they're a Microsoft owned studio it is their job to manage that .
As much as they talk about wanting to focus and work on building their 1st party, they have shown minimal effort. They would rather spend 400 million on NFL deals than do anything that even resembles caring for trying to build a future of franchises on Xbox.
Here is a post from NeoGaf from 2014 breaking down their history managing their internal studios. Nothing has changed.

Partially Timed DLC will now become a thing.
Kill confirmed.
He just mentioned he was committed to make sure it's a quality release....
At least take the whole quote.
"He continues to say, "it's been in beta for a while, and we're watching the engagement numbers. The thing around Legends that I'm committed to is I want to make sure its release matches the expectations in terms of quality that our customers deserve."
Being committed to make sure it's a quality release and then cancelling the project and axing the developers next week, is not commitment.
Like I said before, Phil Spencer says alot of things.
I'm not sure he knows what committed even means.
You can't pledge commitment towards something and then cancel it next week. Just like you can't deepen your commitment to Xbox One by sending all your games to Windows.
I think Microsoft is making their intentions pretty clear. (Taken from Neogaf)
Microsoft Studios is now publishing only the biggest hits
Let's just recap Microsoft's generation in review:
- Start Lift London
- Downsize the XBLA/Microsoft Studios team because MS doesn't want to be in the business of publishing so many indie games
- Close Microsoft Victoria
- Cancel Black Tusk's original game and make them the Gears...
In my opinion you can't really set that aside as if it doesn't exist. It has changed design.
Hey, it's all good.
Different people have different ideas.
But I completely agree about VR.
This makes sense of alot of their recent moves involving Xbox.
Also to add to the context of the situation, here is an article from Game industry giving their take on it.

The rumor they are referencing is this.
