It's about a week early.
They generally come out 2 weeks before release.
From NeoGaf and I completely agree.
"It's Xbox One pre-reveal all over again.
- potentially terrible plan with vague benefits
- poor explanation of said benefits
- the context makes the plan look even worse (back then, Kinect focus. Today, studios closing down and games going multiplat)
- a small community of loyalists defending the plan to the teeth using "what if"s and wildly optimistic conjecture"

The gameplay is great from what I've played. The game just launched with terrible word of mouth and it's tough to overcome that in such a short timespan.

Unreal. No one would have guessed it leading up to SFV's launch. The PS4 version of Naruto also doubled up the Xbox One version. Far Cry Primal is also selling faster than Far Cry 4, that is also surprising.
As for Street Fighter, hopefully they can turn it around after a rough launch. Driveclub did, Battlefield 4 did, FF14 did, maybe they can.
The Xbox One tanked.
Hardware was down 23% YOY, but the PS4 was up YOY.
The PS4 is around 405,000 and did 56% of hardware sales between the PS4 (405,000), Xbox One (249,000) and Wii U (70,000).
