"Show me anytime I have done that...never me"

Now call out the hypocrites here like you did there.......
Microsoft announcing the Series S after the PS5 got revealed was the smartest decision they ever made. Had they announced it along side the X all the hoopla over 2TF difference would have never happened with the S staring right at your face. And also might not have as many people defending it as they are now.
"This whole split screen being so great is nonsense, what are we in the 90's?...grow up already, most games on current gen can't even hit 60fps at 4k or lower res, .split screen is a taxing dinosaur feature, let it go...it's completely not worth it for the masses, it's a minority feature at this point and only suitable for some games now."
I agree with everything you are saying here. . . but I know, I know, I know, if this was a Sony game you'd...
I believe a dev or two has started that already albeit for 'marketing purposes' (lmao), so your 'friend' is good and don't have to worry!
Phil is such an 'aggressive competitor'.
It won't be once Acti deal becomes official.
"When the PS5 /Serie X launch weren't they supposed to have 60 FPS/4K and raytracing like it was nothing?"
For PS4/XboxOne level of quality games sure.
This is what people don't get/realize. Resolution and FPS in regards to specs depends on how much game is pushing the hardware. The PS3 can probably run Tetris at 60fps/4k like it was nothing. Now can it do it for The Last of Us though? No because the The Last of Us pushes the console mor...
Damn no wonder they aren't in a rush to release a switch successor
Very good marketing on their part! They're getting the attention that they wanted!
Nice to see pro consumer moves being rewarded!
"Your whole comment reeks of "gotta talk about MS too"."
Didn't realize this was a Sony only article...
"Except in most cases it is, including the latest FF and other Square games."
Except in this case it wasn't but that didn't stop you from saying this "Those Sony checks could only last for so long." Now did it....
"Which are? This is exactly what I mean by no ...
You're missing my point. And I'll continue to phrase my points in "basic, bottom N4G style comments" for as long as I want! Not everything is due to Sony blocking MS from getting games. They said they are committed to bringing more games to Xbox, so let's see what games come to Xbox later. *Spoiler* Don't be surprised if any of the games that were deemed "forever exclusive" to PlayStation makes there way on to Xbox which shouldn't be surprising given Ph...
Looks another lie by Phib Spencer strikes again. So much for games being "forever exclusive" to PlayStation.
Perhaps this causes Microsoft to follow suit? Since many claimed that MS merely followed Sony's lead with their price hike, so I guess now it's time for them to have a sale of $100 off like Sony is doing!
Seems very pro consumer to me!
"Sony has just launched a PS5 sale across regions including the UK, Ireland, Germany and India, with deals bringing the PlayStation 5 Standard Console down to £404.99 from £479.99 (in the UK)."
This is from the article
Does it matter? I thought we were past this "real" nonsense. The end results matter more. If you can't distinguish, who cares. If it allows for better/more stable frame rate who cares. MS f'd everything when they started using terms like "true" and "real" in their marketing when they launched the One X last gen. People are finally starting to realize that "True 4K" doesn't matter if you have to sacrifice framerate to achieve it. In the end s...
How very pro consumer of Sony to cut down the price of a console they know will sell regardless despite anti consumer price hike due to economic conditions and it was still selling anyway.
"Who said they weren't?"
Gee... I dunno... maybe... the people who use it as a reason why Microsoft are the good guys for buying Activision? Even though MS themselves do timed exclusives as well?
"Xbox gamers claimed that Sony was ALSO keeping games from the competition by making timed deals, never was the narrative that timed exclusive were bad."
#1. Microsoft is ALSO keeping games from the competition by making...
I was talking in regards to it's reception upon it's announcement. The Series S got no where near the negative press it should have gotten when it was announced (and you had a lot more people defending it then ["entry level to next Gen" people would say] compared to now) because it was over shadowed by the small 2TF difference between the PS5 and Series X. The reception the S is getting now is what it should have gotten back i when it was initially announced.
