By making PlayStation smaller, Xbox gamers stay winning. Lord Phil was basically projecting what he was really trying to do when he cried and moaned that Sony wants to make PlayStation grow by making Xbox smaller.

Both are anti-consumer, but I'll break it down further.
Which one permanently removes already existing multiplatform games from consumers of other platforms?
Someone who buys major publisher after major publisher whose game already release on their platforms, but are doing so to strip away games from the consumers of other platforms; or someone who pays for timed exclusivity in which games release to consumers of other platforms eventually?
One game vs many games? Not to mention those deals are usually timed and come to other platforms eventually. And their sequels have a chance of coming to other platforms as well.
Nothing stopping Microsoft from striking an exclusive deal for CoD with Activision if they really want.

Regardless of their reasoning, it was the correct decision. Nobody should be able to just buy up the market.

Counting frames and pixels all started during the PS360 era. Man if they didn't tell you the resolution/frames many of y'all would enjoy the game no problem.
Should there be a 60fps performance mode? Yes absolutely. Is it being 30fps a deal breaker however? No, several things outside the framerate should determine that.

Don't think genuine is the right word. He's just saying what will win him the most points at the given moment whether he actually believes it or not or if it's the truth or not.
So he's basically saying that he will make CoD exclusive if the deal goes through unless Sony accepts the one-sided 10 year deal. It also means he lied yet again when it came to the 'case by case' basis retort about exclusivity when they initially bought Zenimax, in which by 'case' he just meant games that were already contractually agreed to release on other platforms. This guy really just says what people want to in the moment of time he is saying it.
