Call of Duty is a pick up and own game. It hardly if at all requires skill to be good at the game. This is why millions of people buy it. The game is very accessible and people have fun when they are playing well.
Rockstar has yet to make a bad GTA game and I don't see GTAV breaking that trend with the information we have seen thus far. GTAV will surely succeed.
I have faith that Rockstar won't make Los Santos feel empty.
They're missing the Batman Arkham series, Killzone 2, Red Dead Redemption, etc. There should be a lot more than 17 when you look at some of the games that made the list.

MS isn't stupid. They know that a good number people will just pirate it on the PC. There is a reason why big games like Red Dead aren't on PC and games like GTA5 aren't releasing on PC(if at all) on the same days as consoles. Blame those that are worse than scum.
With handhelds included it does make it a bit difficult to conjure up a top 5 list. Something good is definitely going to get omitted.
You can't blame SuperBot for the lack of some of the most iconic and popular characters in PlayStation, but that doesn't change the fact that it's disappointing though.
Anyway the beta made the characters less of an importance to me with it's surprisingly fun and deep gameplay. Best beta I've ever participated in.

Like CoD? Nah, I doubt you'll admit that.
But agreed on R* taking a huge risk and pushing the envelope. I wish more developers would do it as well, but most don't that have credentials or talent to pull it off like R*.
