I don't know about KZ3 as I wouldn't play that multiplayer even if I was paid to do it, but KZ2 still has a good amount people playing. If you really are "fan of killzone" you'd know that. KZ3 might have gotten abandoned though since it didn't match KZ2's quality.

First they CHEERED when they found out that the Wii U wasn't a huge leap from the PS360 because that would lead to easy emulation. Now they are CHEERING for the fact that PS4 is easy to develop for and NOT because this would mean less stress for developers, but because it would mean easy emulation and the ability to steal games.

Since when have they become necessary? Prior to this gen microtransactions where non existent on consoles. Items that used to be secrets/unlockables now have a price tag attached to it. There is no justifying this in a moral sense.

Uh, I think it's fairly obvious that not everyone is going to rush out and buy it at launch. Sony and every other company in the industry expects that. If they had the type of mentality you have though, they would never release a new console/new games for that new console.

There^^ ya go, perfect. I believe releasing a new console every 6 years is the perfect rotation cycle. Not too short and not too long with 5 years being the minimum and 7 years being the maximum.
Nope. I hardly pay $59.99 for current gen games nowadays so there is no way I'd pay $69.99. Games need to go back to the $40-$50 sweet spot. I hardly buy games day one anymore because of the price. I don't like to buy used so I always end up getting a game a couple months after release now due to waiting for price drop.

I'm not understanding why embracing digital distribution means rejecting physical copies. I think most people already embrace going digital, they just don't want to lose the option of buying a physical copy.

Yeah I see what you are saying. That is why they introduced PS+ and I definitely see PS+ being a hell of a lot more attractive next gen than it is now. I feel like the PS3 was limited on what it can do in terms of updates because of Sony's lack of taking the future into consideration. I'm sure adding stuff must have been a huge chore for them this gen and as a result are making sure that adding updates and features to the PS4 will be a lot easier for them to do.
