I don't think he's saying that you can't play both. He's saying that smartphone games aren't at the level where real gamers would pick smartphones over any single console or PC.

It only makes perfect sense now that this gen is essentially over. It doesn't really matter whether it's for the PS3 or PS4 at this point.
I'd rather have FFXII as separate on the Vita though. I'm just glad that SE isn't trying to gimp us like they did with the KH 1.5 and 2.5 hd mixes.

Wow, it's just a compilation of cut scenes from a DS game that's just meant to give the story of 358/2 without actually playing the game. To expect top notch film quality is ridiculous.

I agree with this in regards to Fuse or any other new or non established IP. But as for franchises with fan bases I say let the fans complain. Most of the time the complaints are legitimate backed up with convincing reasons.
