Yeah, I don't get it either. It's sure to be a hit so I don't get why they won't do it.
***"just because Sony announce it first doesn't mean they came up with it. I'm pretty sure both of them how this feature in mind when they were building the console."***
Glad to see that someone finally has this mentality.
But, but, but it's not really free, only on N4G is that considered free/s
WOW!
I hope they can get some Lupe Fiasco in there, but I doubt it. Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole will most likely make it so it's all good.
Okay now I know you troll on purpose. And yes it took me until comment for me to finally see it. I bet you never played any of the KILLZONE games.

nukeital is hypocrisy at it's finest. This is coming from someone who said that he wouldn't buy anything anti-consumer when the PS4 was rumored to block used games to actually likening the idea as long as there are "benefits" when there were strong indications that MS might have a used game fee. He is also one to spin positive Sony news in to a negative... talk about blind hate and fanboyism...
lmao! So true!
I'm tired of repeating myself. Here is the reason why XB1 and PS4 have no BC:
http://n4g.com/news/1269498...
Throwing money at it isn't going to speed up the process at least not at a suitable amount. Like I said it took over a decade to get a fully working PS2 emulator for the PC. So you can imagine how long it will take for the 360 and the original Xbox doesn't even have a decent one either.
**"Nice picture, absolutely fallen in love with that show. Drives me mental waiting for another episode every week."***
Yeah I love it too. Best action anime...
Although this is Pachter...I believe it. It falls in line with what I've been speculating.

Still think the XB1 will be $300 though.
Yeah... you don't understand how BC works. BC is not an easy thing to do like everyone thinks it is.
Each console has it's own architecture. So in order to do BC you have to start from SCRATCH, making an emulator that works for that particular architecture. You can't just use a PC emulator because the emulator on the PC is designed to work on the PC not on the console.
I don't understand why people are surprised MS doesn't have BC with the...
@caseh
*******"They could have re-introduced BC on the PS3 quite easily, instead retail prices are kept high by adding bigger HDDs on each new revision. I for one would have taken a smaller HDD with BC present...
They then make that stack of PS2 games you own available on the PSN or some of them at least, leading you to potentially buy them again."*******
PS2 BC for the PS3 was done via hardware. I don't know how they would be a...
I wasn't planning on even touching the MP, but this actually does sound interesting. Looks like it could be my long awaited KZ2 MP replacement.
I personally want to see it bundled so that developers will actually utilize it. If they don't bundle it then it will pretty much be like how it is now where only the first party studios that Sony forces to use the Eye that will be the ones actually using it.
-Edit @below
You're saying it's 100% "true" fact that Sony won't bundle the Eye with the PS4? lol
***"best scenario we could hope for."***
No need to "hope" for this being the best scenario because as I stated before this is no different than what's in place now. It's the current scenario. Nothing is stopping EA from releasing a game with DRM on the PS3 or 360 right now.
So if people are complaining about Sony leaving DRM up the pubs for the PS4 then they should also be complaining about them doing the same thing for the PS3, 3...
You guys don't know what you are talking about. The reason why other consoles such as the PS2 or Wii aren't super expensive despite having BC is because it doesn't include the hardware of previous consoles in it. Their BC is done via software emulation.
The launch PS3 had the PS2 hardware in it hence why removing PS2 BC reduced the price of the PS3. You may ask why can't they do PS2 BC via software, but that's easier said than done.

***"My comment was in reply to the very first comment"***
Then why say "people"? You might have meant the first guy in particular, but it's not like it's totally unreasonable for him or others to think you may have meant N4G in general. You did use the word "people" after all. The other people that replied to you seemed to think you meant the community as well.
Nonetheless rainslacker is spot on about what goes around her...
The same thing that happens if a PC, PS3, 360, or Wii U game has online DRM.
If there is game that has DRM then you have the choice of leaving your console connected to the internet.
If you don't like that the game has DRM then don't buy it simple.
All we can do is pray and hope that we don't hear things like wanting to make the game "accessible" and other such terms when used to sort of indirectly say that they are making another CoD clone.
Publishers need to remember that if people want to play a CoD game they would just buy the actual game. They better stick to what actually made gamers want a Mirrors Edge 2 in the first place which is the parkour which is obvious to everyone except EA apparently.
