PC and PS4 are two different machines. It's not as straight forward as putting the PC's emulators into the PS4. Remember how long it took for the Vita to get PS1 games? Expect it to take longer than that for PS1 games to come to the PS4 and even longer for PS2 games if Sony is even considering emulation at all...
Honestly if it was sooo evident that Next Gen Consoles were horribly outdated you wouldn't need to result to using CoD which doesn't even use a new engine and doesn't even emphasize graphics to boot anyway against Crysis which graphics have always been the priority and the devs themselves said that graphics are more important than gameplay.

Wow if this was PS instead of Xbox you definitely would not have this mentality at all. You definitely wouldn't at it look as benefits and drawbacks. You would certainly complain about how they are taking our rights away and that we shouldn't support it all. Brand loyalty goes a long way I guess.

@below they also have the infrared LED that allows the Xbox to recognize the player. So I'm guessing that's the main reason why 360 controllers aren't compatible.
