Yep, makes sense why I always lean on NES/SNES about equally when I think of peak Retro. My family moved halfway across the country right before I turned 10, then the SNES hit a few months before I turned 11. My NES has a strong nostalgic pull towards my childhood, and SNES represented my new life and journey into adolescence.

Sony also took away my animated backgrounds that I paid money for on my PS4. Loved my little zen waterfall I had going on. After i had to do a fresh system install bc of a storm power outage, I tried to re-download it.. and just gone from existence.
This is interesting. I saw it is hitting PS+, and I had never heard of it and probably wouldn't have had the initiative to try it on my own. However, i keep reading great things about it and seen some perfect scores. I'll at least give it a shot at the pricetag of free!

Can you order from one of the neighboring EU countries? I ordered my Switch 2 from Spain, because we don't have our own Amazon here in Portugal. I've also often ordered from Germany or France.

Crazy. I secured my Mario Kart World bundle last night from Amazon over here in the EU. I didn't get the 5th, but the 12th is fine with me. I'm just glad that my Mario Kart was only €40 extra versus what they were charging for the base console with no game.

Not saying the Switch 2 is a powerhouse by any means, but this comment is way out of line.
This has been my biggest complaint about the N64 games on NSO to date, and I honestly never thought that we would get this. I want to experience these games like I originally experienced them. N64 games gave the illusion of more rounded, robust polygon characters and environments because of the blur/bleed that these screens gave. They just don't look right on modern, crisp screens, more like paper maché. Not everything looks better in HD!
I remember I asked my parents for Castlevania Symphony of the Night for Christmas & my parents gave me this instead, lol I remember feeling really disappointed, but ended up really enjoying the lighthearted, feel goodness of this game. I guess that's what my parents wanted, when they took a look at Symphony of the Night's jewel case! I did end up getting SotN later that next year, so it's all good!
