The XBox way. Hardware, even game development companies.... let them do the hard work of building things, throw them some money, then slap an XBox logo on it!

Why not just get a PC at that point. Consoles were supposed to be the cheaper, easier alternative.
I agree. I do like the intent of Mario Kart World, but the world does feel surprisingly empty. Maybe it'll improve over time, but I don't feel a strong push to explore it at the moment. I want to like it, but I keep feeling this nagging feeling in the back of my mind.
Edit - hmmm, so apparently Diddy (and Dixie) make an Amibo cameo? I've never owned an Amibo before, and don't plan on starting now.
I can't seem to get excited about this game for some reason, and I don't know what it is. I guess I just care more about the Donkey Kong Country franchise more. I do miss Diddy. It may be something I take a risk on later during a Black Friday sale in a year or 2, but I'm in no rush to pick it up next month.
Fair enough. I want to see the series continue, so I can definitely get behind that. It was good to get a break from the series for a while, but I'd like to see where they can take it next.

Not entirely true.
I had this issue with Grid Autosport, it crashed about 5 times in a row at one of the beginning logos. I finally tried another game, then tried Grid again... and it worked!
So it's not working well, but it eventually does work. I did a handful of races no problem once I got the game going. So yea, hoping for a patch soon bc it is a pretty good racer to have handheld!
Yea Limited Run didn't get their dev kits until a couple weeks b4 launch. Something to do with Nintendo shunning Embracer Group companies. They're working on a fix, but yea I'm not buying it either until it works on Switch 2.
I hope a PS5 upgrade launches on the same day as announcement & it costs no more than $10. I already bought the Ultimate Edition once, they got good money from me.
I stopped playing completely 2 years ago until they did 60fps. I really didn't expect it would take this long & I didn't want to start completely over on PC.
That's all stuff that would have existed with or without Microsoft. All they did was throw some extra cash. It had nothing to do with Microsoft's creative vision and you know it.
Yea, I've always been a multiplatform gamer, never claimed otherwise. I love MS Flight Sim (especially in VR) & Forza Horizon games, supported the few MS games I do enjoy on PC throughout the years. I just swore off XBox hardware looong ago with 3 red ringed 360s, and look forward to the day that they get pushed out of hardware all together out of spite for that. Well the irony of the situation is that I actually got a free copy for owning the Ultimate Edition on PC, so I won't be buying it again on PS5. ;P

And yes, just as Nintendo said they would, stock is plentiful. That's why they're setting such records. The demand is high & the stock is there to match it. It was a very smart move.
The article clearly says sold. If it were shipped, it would say shipped.
Nintendo had been saying the last year or so that they would be flooding stock so that scalpers would not be an issue. They've followed through with their word. It's not cutting edge tech, so it's been easier for them to sit on stock for a while until it accumulated to a massive number available to be shipped.
It's like a rich kid who pays the smart kid to do his homework for him.
