The Developers are the team who made Etrian Odyssey and those games are only on DS and 3DS.
The team have not made one game on any PS system.

Well Splatoon 2 is a major game in Japan. Splatoon on Wii U was a smash hit and was moving untis weekly til Super Mario Maker came.
But the effect for Switch is far greater.
As I said. All three platform are gonna be on fire.

GameBoyColor isn't entirely wrong though. If 5% of 3DS owners bought it with 22 Million install base were reduce to 5 million it would still be higher.

The Versus games are more repetitive than the 2D sidescsrolling and also has bad camera angles.
Burst levels and story is the least repetitive of all the games. Shinovi Versus is the 100% repetitive
The 3DS is only 9 million away from the Nintendo DS. But it won't reach it but it did an amazing job getting the 2nd place for best selling video game system in Japan.
The Switch has the potential to sell around 3-5m in Japan this Fiscal Year for Nintendo. With Splatoon 2 ad Super Mario Odyssey. Those two alone will push very far and hopefully the Switch version of Dragon Quest XI comes this Holiday in Japan so Square Enix can get extra Holiday sales.
