I'm not supporting either of these new machines, they're bad for the consumer & bad for the industry.
Wouldn't the GotY edition be the same price as TTK is now? I thought all future DLC for "Destiny" going forward was free since it was being supported by in-game micro-transactions. So will TTK be getting a price-cut, then?
I picked up the game a while ago during a flash sale but have yet to play it. Maybe I should bump it up on my playlist..?
I feel a bit bad for professional guide writers / makers. Some of these can be really cool, including conceptual artwork and background character info you may not know about your favorite heroes, but the internet honestly makes the bulk of them seem too costly compared with a fan's passionate walkthrough on GameFAQs or some similar site.
It's not necessarily a bad thing, it's just just tech turning old-school guides obsolete, which is sad but understandable.
"Can it Run Crysis" is the name of one of the Achievements / Trophies back on 360 / PS3. ;)
I beat the original "Crysis (PS3)" and it was okay but definitely had issues with super-sighted enemies.
Played "Crysis 2 (PS3)" about half way and stopped due to lack of interest. I intend to go back one day but the games, at least in comparison to other FPSs on PS3, just aren't that good. I don't know about "Crysis 3&q...
Ever since my recent experience with "Contrast" I've considered myself a fan of Compulsion Games. I'm eagerly looking forward to "We Happy Few" hoping for another great experience. :)
I'd just suggest getting a PlayStation-TV, at only $35 it's far more affordable. You'll still need those expensive proprietary memory cards, but that can't be avoided. Also, almost every game except for some classic near-launch titles are compatible (which unfortunately include some of its best, like Uncharted & ACIII:L).
Building your special with the exotic perk of Bad Juju wasn't mentioned.
Unless you're doing the KF raid all the time the Touch of Malice is a pretty worthless weapon, imo.
Black Spindle is highly overrated and is one of the most unnecessary and worthless exotics in the game. Why? Because when you factor into account the role Impact plays in damage, something like the 1000-Yd. Stare does more damage (and WAY MORE damage against Golgoroth) than B...
That's right, return to the Tower, Guardian, return to your "Destiny." mwahahahaha ;)
But seriously, I didn't know things were this bad over at "The Division." Never got into the game, still obsessed with "Destiny" and playing other stuff ("Killzone: Mercenary" atm). Maybe a patch might fix some things?
The content has to be compelling enough to me personally, and there has to be a lot of it to justify the cost.
Hardware means crap unless it can deliver the content. Current slate of games look good, but not good enough to pull me away from the console games I already know and love. It needs way more to do that.
I do and by that logic it's an $800 system (not really since you still camera and may want Move). $800 for VR right now feels ridiculous. $400 is still too steep on something like this.
I've sensed from the beginning that VR in its current state will fail, and fail hard, but if I'm wrong and the content is compelling enough and Sony doesn't give up on it like the EyeToy, PlayStation Eye, 3D, PlayStation Move, and Vita then I'll pick one up.
Cut the price in half and I'll consider it.
Only way $400 would be worth it to me is if PS-VR were its own platform rather than an accessory. If a person didn't need to own a PS4, just the helm, then I would find the $400 price point acceptable.
Not saying the tech and games don't justify the cost of materials, labor, shipping, & marketing, but a product is really only worth what the consumer is willing to spend on it, and $400 is too high fo...
I'm undecided. Sony ditched the EyeToy, the ditched 3D, and they ditched Move (until now with VR). I'll see how things pan out.
Awesome, have fun. :)
I have hundreds of games in my backlog. It only takes one multi-year MMO addiction (looking at you, EQ) to back stack a plethora of playable gems.
I'll get caught up someday. Been trying to push off RPGs till then but making an exception for "Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate." ;)
Scooped up Yellow. :)
I never knew this went on sale in the first place; pre-order placed. :)
Agree, until the Wishlist comes to the PS4 (and maybe Vita) it's a completely irrelevant feature to me.
The article brought something up that I'm really hoping for; I would like to see exotic & legendary pieces of armor and weapons sold separately so you can equip your action figure guardians to mimic your in-game characters.
I don't know how shaders would work, though.
What about you?
From a spec standpoint this is cool, but this system is bad for the consumer & the industry.
This is the X-Box Microsoft should have released at launch, not what they've already delivered. It's too late, MS, you already have a respectable install base in the multi-millions, just focus hardcore on software, especially exclusive IPs, and ride out the gen preparing a better hardware system for next-gen.
Why upset millions by making their current...
