I don't know how well the DmC remaster fared but comparing sales of the last gen original releases, DMC4 outsold DmC both worldwide and in NA, at least according to VGChartz.
Worldwide:
DMC4 = 1.56 (PS3) + 1.33 (360) = 2.89 million
DmC = .79 (PS3) + .39 (360) = 1.18 million
NA Only:
DMC4 = .57 (PS3) + .78 (360) = 1.35 million
DmC = .23 (PS3) + .22 (360) = .45 million
I would've really liked Capcom to release the physical collector's edition of DMC4 stateside as well. I don't own a PS4 yet but I still would've picked this up. Heck, I bought a 60gb PS3 back in the day once I heard DMC4 was announced for it, that was my sole reason to purchase a PS4 back then.
To be fair, I'm probably an exceptional case in that regard.
Am buying for Vita. :)

I wonder if 343 cancelled the beta because so many people were making fun of them. Launching a beta for a necessary patch to mend a broken game released almost 3 months ago = FAIL.

So aside from platform, what's the difference between Xenoblade Chronicles 3D and Xenoblade for the WiiU? Is the New 3DS version like a prequel game to the WiiU version?

For many Nintendo fans Reason 1 is likely true. I'm a PlayStation fan so I don't own many Nintendo systems in general, so for mw this will be my first 3DS. :)
Reason 2 I completely agree with. I don't think a lack of an AC adapter is a complete deal breaker on its own, but to not include one is just stupid. I can understand not including something like a car charer, that's an accessory, but to not include the AC adapter is just... well... stupid, as I said ...
Yeah, I'm with you in that minority. Nintendo handhelds I own include: GameBoy Color, GameBoy Advance SP, DS Lite, and I've got the MH4U 3DS Bundle being delivered, which I'm really looking forward to.
For those not in our situation, though, I can understand being irked by the various upgrades of the New 3DS. If you've got the cash and you REALLY want one, then pick it up, otherwise you're probably fine as-is.

The prequel might not erase the storyline of the original. There's a Mirror's Edge comic that tells the prequel story to the first game already. If "Mirror's Edge 2" follows that plot then the two games should blend together well.

And the dev of "Mirror Moon." That game was something special to its fans on the Ouya and elsewhere; it's essentially "No Man's Sky" only more puzzle oriented and way more simplistic graphics.
Wow, and it just keeps getting worse. It's like Bungie is deliberately trying to kill their own burgeoning franchise. It's shocking and sad how greedy Bungie (or Activision, or both) have become.
