Ah ok.

Really? I thought Crystal Dynamics gave Game Informer those pics.

Nice, so Lara is young? How young though? She looks maybe 17 or 18. This is supposedly her first adventure right? I guess they mean solo adventure? Although not even that. She was 15 at the start of Last Revelation and Werner Von Croy was teaching her how to be an explorer. Then in Chronicles she was 15 on a solo adventure. I guess this new game takes place a little after those events? She kind of looks like Hilary Swank.

Yeah I know. You guys were gonna throw the Forza 3 flying truck clip at me. I anticipated that. That's why I mentioned how long it took to make each game. Sorry guys. Better luck next time.

You guys are right. 6 years really paid off. The physics in this game are brilliant and it took 6 years not 2 years like Forza 3 to get a hilarious clip like this,

At this point there's so much denial and biased fanboy love for GT5 that it's disgusting! GT5 fans will go down with the ship no matter what.

It's the greatest racer ever! Who needs crashes? Good A.I.? Who cares! Graphics don't make a good game! It's about the game play! Can I make out with Kaz? Please!

Well you people are boring. You like the same thing over and over again. I like to free roam and discovering new adventures.

Yeah but you're in the minority. RDR has multiplayer and free roam. Most people didn't replay GOWIII. Because the game is too linear. The characters especially the bosses behave in the same manner no matter how many times you replay it. It's a great ride once maybe twice but then it's over. RDR is the gift that keeps on giving.

RDR is easily GOTY!

RDR had all the right stuff to make it GOTY.

GOWIII = Amazing game, but no replay value.

Mass Effect 2 = Amazing game. Amazing story, but no replay value

RDR = Amazing game. Amazing story and replay value.

This is going to be just like the Prince of Persia movie. The average person think it's just another Hollywood action vehicle created for a Star. While gamers will bitch it's not like the game. We get too much CG. The movie flops and life goes on.

I know these Hollywood movies based on Video Games hate following the games they're based on, but would it kill them to say it's based on a Video Game in the ads? They could have said, Prince of Persia, based on the ...

No it doesn't because first of all. The average person has no idea what the Eyetoy is and second. MS isn't marketing Kinect like the Eyetoy. They're marketing it as something new and fresh. Their motto is you are the controller. That's new a fascinating to a lot of people. Sony is asking themselves, why didn't we think of that when we first released the Eyetoy?

5661d ago 0 agree2 disagreeView comment

The problem is the Move feels like the Wii and that fascination is over. Kinect uses no controller. So the public is fascinated, but that fascination will end as well. Motion Control has built it's success on fascination and curiosity. When that clears up its time for the good games and so far there haven't been really good motion control games. Almost every motion control game seems to serve as a demonstration of what can be done with Motion Control. A few games like Mario Galaxy and...

They pay this guy to state the obvious?

I think Move has more potential than Kinect. It works better than the Wiimote and it feels nice to have something in your hand to control the objects on the screen. I think Kinect is too ahead of it's time. It doesn't feel right to be using nothing but your body to control the game. I don't trust the accuracy of the technology either.

Forza 3 wins hands down. What is that flickering mess behind the car in GT5? Why is that even happening? Especially after 6 years of development. Forza 3 took like 2 years to make. Who ever says GT5 is the winner. You're definitely in denial. You're seeing what you wanna see.

GT5 has better lighting, but Forza 3 looks more polished. The graphics seem more solid and defined. While GT5 the pixels are doing something weird on the GT5 car. Look at this line on the back of the car in motion. It's like flickering. The graphics seem unstable. What I wanna know is was GT5 even beta tested?

It would make sense with the Move.

Wow GT5 really needs to fix the flickering jaggy shadow on the cars. It looks terrible! How in 6 years of development that ended up on the final game is beyond me. I hope they can fix it with a patch.

The new Resident Evil game isn't Resident Evil 6. It's a Resident Evil game though. A spin-off and Resident Evil's answer to a Left4Dead style game.

Well for me it represented what could have been not only the most state of art racing game ever designed, but the best looking Video Game ever made. I was looking forward to the next level of racing games. Instead I got a game where the developers surprisingly took shortcuts and made poor choices. It's as if the developers started with a lot of heart and passion, but somewhere during those 6 years they ran into hurdles and deadlines and started rushing parts of the game just to release i...
