Fanboys are only protecting their investment. They bought one system. So they want to have the best for their system. If the other system gets a better game. They feel their system is left out and they want to have a better game on their system to justify their investment. It becomes a competition. A console war.
More people should own a 360 and PS3 like me. We'd have less Fanboys and more honest opinions.

The problem is the Move is getting lost in the Kevin Butler ads. Which are awesome, but the Move needs to distinguish itself. It needs more ads with families and more air time. The only Move ad I see on TV is the Kevin Butler one.
That's pre-gimmick. You know back when good games sold consoles. The Wii started the age of the gimmick.
Microsoft has more money and the better gimmick. "Your body is the controller" We live in a gaming age where the best gimmick sells consoles. I like Move better but it's mostly seen as another Wiimote. You think the next Nintendo console is just going to be a more powerful Wii with Wiimotes again? Heck no! Nintendo will have some new gimmick. It's all about having the best gimmick.
Yeah and very few were nominated. Nintendo is more and more being seen as something for the casual market.
No not the VGA's, but what they nominated COD, HALO REACH, GOWIII, RDR. Hardcore games. No Wii motion crap except SM Galaxy 2.
Nintendo wasn't nominated for much either. It shows how Nintendo is separating itself from Hardcore gaming.
The Kinect won't last either. I don't know how to break it to you kids but Motion Control is a fad. The Wii proved that. Yes the Wii was huge and made millions but now the storm is over and motion control hasn't evolved passed Wii sports.

I think in general motion control is slowly dying. The gimmick is wearing off. Right now MS slightly altered the gimmick and is getting some attention, but unless Nintendo can come out with some new gimmick for their next Wii system, whatever that is, motion control is doomed and I'm happy about that.
