Um, how did you charge it? My mini USB for my old controllers doesn't fit the DS4. Or am I delusional? I didn't want to push it in too hard.

I had one controller that had gooey, sticky sticks. And I live in San Francisco, where the cool temperature is pretty much the same year round. Five other that didn't.
One was "sticky" in that it didn't respond instantly but wasn't gooey. Very inconsistent quality to the controllers, to be honest.
Looking forward to getting my hands on the DS4.
Oh, those things. Gotcha. The topic was the ability to support 4K. Off topic, I think rumble triggers is the only thing on your list of tremendous features that I find interesting.
I would also list cloud computing, if I thought it would actually make a difference in a game, or that PS4 couldn't do the same.
Also, RE: cloud, I don't get why people talk about 300,000 dedicated servers, as if that in and of itself meant something. A server is not a ...

We know the hardware specs of both systems. PS4 can do anything XBone can. Maybe not vice-versa.
It's obvious that somebody at Sony has finally had their ego checked. As much as I hate Microsoft, maybe the fight this last generation was necessary to shift Sony's way of thinking.
The acclaim indie games like Journey got probably didn't hurt either.
