All the games you mentioned sucked and only nerds know of those titles. Thats why they closed the studio. They don't make games for 100,000 people since you're the minority. Not many people bought Crimson Skies or Freelancer. Oddworld had a cult following, but that's about it. How many people actually saw The Rocky Horror Picture Show? Get the point
This kid showed his age by leaving out so many titles. Did he not know that Bizarre made Geometry Wars which sold millions and cost almost nothing to make. The profit was unbelievable. Activision wouldn't have bought the studio after a commercial flop like "The Club."
Game was engrossing. Wish I can see more of this type of acting and story telling. I want Monkey's backstory and how he was captured on the slave ship. I hope that DLC will be released later

None of you comments have shown me a PS3 exclusive outselling a MS exclusive. Of course MS had its duds, but so has Sony. I am not a loyalist as you seem to be, I am just stating a fact. God of War 3, KillZone 2, and Uncharted 2 should have blown MGS 4's numbers out the water, but they didnt. I think Heavy Rain did 2M, but nowhere near Gears numbers.
IMO, the day of exclusives will be a thing of the past unless Sony or MS studios make it.

Exclusives mean nothing if you dont advertise. No SONY exclusive has outsold microsofts exclusives and that's just the truth. Bad Company 2 is already a name, but with the right direction and promotion, Battlefield 3 can surpass it.
Not a PC gamer, but I can't wait for Battlefield 3. DICE has been on point with battlefield and I cant praise them enough. They actually listen to fans and support their product. Hopefully EA gives them the financial backing they need to kick CoD in the nuts since they make such a better product. Mirrors Edge was a commercial flop, I doubt a sequel will be made. EA is downsizing as you can see what happened to EA sports. They are not releasing sequels to crappy games. BFBC2 is not done. They have a few more map packs to put out. BF3 is PC only I think. EA knws they can make more money on consoles.
