The negative comment he was referring to was that someone stated that since they were using the same engine, they haven't changed anything but the storyline. They are still using that 2 year old engine.

You must be a noob. XBL didn't fail. It was the foundation of what you see today. PSN is a fail. SONY is now charging you $50 a year with PSN+ and still offering less than XBL. MS wasn't thinking about right here/right now. They were setting the market up bc Bill Gates said he wanted a multimedia entertain system. Sony jumped in late and left features up to the developers when MS took matters into their own hands and it's paid off for them in the long run. No one is saying the PS2...
That has always been SONY. They are always out of tune with what the public wants. When they released the PS2, they didn't think online gaming was the future. The network adapter was an add-on instead of built in modem. Now they jump in to something that is D/L only without someone owning the hard copy and no support. No transferring of UMDS from previous handhelds and no special features like movies, phone, ect. It was total trash.
PSP GO was a failure before it was launched. No one believed it was going to do well and it didn't. The NGP is going to be a success though. I am not a portable gamer and I actually want that machine. Hopefully the price point is perfect. I wouldnt even buy a PSPgo if they sold it for $100. There's no software to support it.
