It has always been the way that if you cant get something you want it even more. This actually reflects both to xbox and PS.
It does not look last gen, but it definitely looks cross gen as it should - it is what it is. But i think the world and the gameplay will be first class as with the first one. So nothing wrong with this one - it is just not next gen yet.

People seem to forget that to put it on SONY platform you pay 30pct. to the platform holder - not if you keep it on your own. And as you will also support PC, (and we know all PS players have the biggest PC as well /s), they will still be there if they want to play the newest COD.
The main point is here that you sell a game on SONY platform you have to give SONY 30 pct. not so on your own platform and PC. So you are getting rid of the middleman and keeping it all. Also marketing is a totally different thing with people on GamePass. You save a lot here - how may Netflix comercials are you seeing.

MS have said and also shown that they dont care about console sales - as why they are putting games an a service across PC; XBOX, CLOUD and PHONES. So they dont care where you play - as long as you buy their subscription and play their games.
So it would not make sense to steer towards most sold consoles - i know it is difficult for some gamers to understand that the future is not based on a specific typ...
