It is not more efficient only if you put it in instant on - which espceially is not nessesay on th xbox as the boot is very fast and you still keep your saved games in the resume function despite it beeing turned totally off.

Should we even talk about the competitive nature of SONY and their practices. It is just outrageous that they are trying to portray themselves as underdogs in the Activision deal, as they are and have always did these practices for the benefit ot the players... /S
The point is that Sony is the market leader and they did and gave done these practices for many years. Even with the acquisition NS would be a smaller gaming company than Sony. And behind Tencent.

Xbox is totally right. Sony is pissing their pants but this will only lead to increased competition which should benefit gamers. As Brazil said they where looking after gamers not specific gaming companies
