It is so utterly stupid to want a totally different experience. Consoles are iterations now. Just like your Iphone. Do they change their interface everythime. No they improve it all the time to get to perfection. This is the same if it is not broken dont fix it.
The useinterface is now extremely fast. Which was the biggest problem before. It has the most power, the best services, is the smallest and has the most games. Just not exclusives that will come.

Take two is milking their franchises, so yearh that may not work well for them. But i dont case, i am interested in what works for me, and just look at netlix, Disney+, HBO. The amout of movies and series is fantastic. So yarh give me that in the GAMES world - works fine for me!

If MS wanted games on gamepass there would be a much cheaper way to do this. That would not require 7.5 bill USD. But the problem is they can not say specificaly before the deal has gone though in 2021. As MS does not rightly own Zenimax at this point.
And the biggest ever - dont forget. Design is one thing size is another.
Design is not to make it look nice it is also about industrial design to make something powerfull as small as possible. We all know that the console look should not be important - as we dont really want to look at it just game. But the WAF (Wife approval factor) is definitely not good with this one based on size alone.
By copying XBOX LATER as this is just the patent. They still need to implement a solution.
