It is not only Sound. A thing Cerny used most of his ps5 intro on, it is also giving you the best possible dynamic range, from black to white. This is a huge thing and a thing we should all be pushing. HDR is not utilised properly if not HDR+ or even better Dolby vision.

What ? There’s no difference it’s the same for gaming. Instead of finding one set of balance for the whole game they can do it on a picture by picture setting. Giving you as much better dynamic range in practice. Same as with film really.

This is absolut bullshit. This has noting to do with DRM. It applies only to smartdelivery -where a game tries to find the best possible version to play. To make this a DRM issues is just dishonest.

Om Dolby vision you Can set the optimization on each frame, which means that you can achieve much better dynamic Solution. There is a huge difference and fantastic to see this coming to games.
In theory i dont even mind SONY charging 70USD for a game - i will just wait. But the problem for me is that they are charging the SONY tax to 3rd. party developers - that is a power grab and not OK.
