@MrDead you are not 100% up to speed on the consolidation in the console space. But hey so was the FTC and CMA - they had no clue and so they lost.
SONY is the biggest player by far and they use this muscle to dominate 3rd party deals and buyouts. So they have startet this all with the start of the PS1 where they outbought the Sega and Nintendo. Now they get their own medicine from a competitor with more USD muscle and it is all good tor the competition and not vice versa...

Well it is just stupid as this is nothing the same. MS is the small guy in gaming. SONY and Nintendo are the big brothers. We have allways been seeing that MS has no games - now they are trying to change that and putting it into a service that you can choose or not. It is an offer if you want - free choice.
But now it is to much - eventhough this is how SONY got big in the first place competing with Sega and Nintendo. Sony invented the whole buy exclusivity with Tomb raind...
FUNNY ENOUGH it is a bit like how game developers can not afford to avoid SONY because they have a huge market dominance in colsole gaming. The competition is now beeing moved out to something else where Sony does not have the same muscle which is only good for competition and maybe the reason why Sony is now dooing PC gaming which is a benefit for all.
Only hardcore sony fans do not see this.

No it’s not a bottleneck but it forces developers to do their work and would even make the xbox version better as it has to be optimised for the S. So no lazy mess. Do your work and stop complaining. PC is the high end and well as low end.
