It's a well known fact Iain Lee is a freelance reporter for MICROSOFT. Along with the serious misuse of fact vs fiction, this segment of the show is invalid and I can't wait for Sony to take legal action.
I can't believe my TV License money is going towards funding such pathetic fanboy drivel. BBC should be ashamed.
A legal beat down is in the works. BBC will regret airing this disgrace of a show.
Also wtf to the fool who said they showed nothing but 360 ad's in the break. B...

with a 54.2% failure rate the 360 continues to be the worst piece of videogame hardware ever created. Coupled with a lackluster software lineup, it continues to turn away new HD Console adopters. Jump out. Play Beyond.

yet in 2009 you buy a $60 expansion pack of a sub HD game that uses a 3 year old engine. Once again, Xbro's reinforce the fact they are indeed the laughing stock of the videogame world.

GTFO Pizzagaki. "Let the sales speak"...spoken like a true Xbro. Sales do not = quality. If Uncharted 2 sold 1 copy, then ended up becoming game of the year, it would just mean not that many people bought it. Not that it's a crap game.
Because of Halo's sales, you 360 fanboys are too obsessed with sales of a game than playing it. That's why you all settle for generic games in sub HD that live off of the overused Unreal Engine. But as long as it sells well you can all sleep at ...

the system still manages to sell 300,000 units in a week.
That says something to me. It says the PS3 has managed to sell 1 million in less than a month. If the total sold in the initial week was just over 500,000 and this week 300,000...judging from the sales trend, the PS3 will sell just over 1.1 million by the end of the month. That's huge.
I can't even imagine the christmas sales, especially if Sony continue to market the PS3 properly or more fiercely come christmas.

I lol'd hard at the box features..

The hypocrisy of Xbabies Flipmode. We need to learn to get used to it.
This bundle sh!ts all over Call of Duty: Generic Warfare 2 bundle.
Lol just shush air 1. MS did the same thing. Arcade ffs. Look at how bare that SKU is. If Sony is desperate for taking out Linux support and adding a bigger HDD, then I don't even want to know how desperate MS are for releasing the arcade SKU and also announced and releasing a 360 price cut the day before the Slims official launch.

FFXIII won't be average. And don't get your hopes so high for WKC. I've had it since April and although it is a great game...really great game, it falls short in a fair few area's,especially story and some horrible graphical issues. That said it's still great.
I'll be looking forward to playing Star Ocean International and FFXIII in Q1 though. So I'm happy ;)
Those screens that Villiers posted are gorgeous.

graphical update also confirmed. Blu-Ray prevails once again

Why should 3rd parties pick up the slack and blow huge amounts of money on quality titles the majority of the Wii's demographic don't even buy, let alone acknowledge the existence of.
Nintendo shot themselves in the foot good and proper in terms of 3rd party support by practically ignoring the hardcore demographic. They ignore us, we ignore their console (I've owned one since launch though mind you).

Well I only care for Crystal Bearers and Spirit Tracks. Both games will be Nintendo's saving grace this holiday as the way I see it, both are going to be AMAZING games.
Even then, out of the hundred + games on there, to only have 2 great titles is abysmal. No wonder serious 3rd party support is dying out on the Wii. What the flange is Nintendo doing.

Namco are the real ones to blame. Quite frankly, they shouldn't have acted like such filthy prostitutes to begin with. Sony wouldn't have made the demands otherwise.
This should teach them not to get into bed with MS so quickly at the first sign of a paycheck. They did it once with Eternal Sonata, and now with Tales of Vesperia. You would hope that they've learned the error in their ways now but expect another sh!tstorm of a similar nature to be cooked up come TGS next week by the same ...

So it's ok for MS to bribe devs into making a multiplat game timed exclusive yet it's not ok for Sony, after getting shafted by MS and Namco, to demand extra content to give their installbase more incentive to buy the game which is only good news for Namco Bandai.
Xbots are getting dumber by the day.

funnily enough I have 11 great PS3 games and 1 great Blu-Ray film so you're stupid equation fails.

What goes around comes around.
Anyone saying Sony are pricks for demanding extra content are blind and delusional. They have every right to ask for extra content and say that they will not sell the game for PS3 if this doesn't happen. Why?
Because Namco shouldn't have been so greedy and swift to grab MS check, and ignore the fanbase that actually wanted the game in the first place.
So Sony say they want Namco to make up for it by delivering loads of new content. The game wou...

of Xbots (not Xbox owners in general) showing their true colours....while they play sales, PS3 gamers will be playing games this winter.

5971d ago 4 agree0 disagreeView comment

over 50,000 in a week is still mega compared to the 4 digit numbers certain other systems are dropping on a weekly basis.
This was expected after the initial sales spike but I gaurentee you the spike will return, perhaps bigger when FFXIII drops this holiday in Japan.

In Japan, software sales are most of the time..average but over there they do have this concept of THE ULTIMATE KILLER APP and when a certain game hits that does really well..it does REALLY well and will sell so much. Look at Dragon Quest IX recently, selling over 3 million in one weekend. Or how well Heart Gold and Soul Silver are doing atm.
That's really how Japanese software sales work. You that bunch of games that will sell millionnssss, then the rest.

this gen I game on a Wii, PS3, DS and PSP yet I'm a big Soyn fanatic even down to the fact my phone, camera, TV and soon PC are Sony products. So some of us can see beyond one console.

21/20. That's how outstanding this game is. You know what Pizzagaki is so butthurt about this game it's crazy. That while us PS3 gamers will be playing stunning Uncharted 2 he will be playing Halo ODLC with it's last gen resolution and out of date graphics running on a 2007 engine for 60 bucks. It's times like these the butthurt ones show their true colours.
