Look at all the noobs questioning this as if it's never been done before. FFX had no levelling system and ended up being one of the best FF games to date.
FFXIII's battle system is a lot of fun. I have the demo and it's so fast paced. For example when you choose a set of commands, you can cancel them mid action to quickly select new commands and chain them. And since you cancelled, the action bar will fill up quicker so it's the best way to gain momentum for 3 slot commands like Firaga....
Well that graph shows the PS3 is outselling 360 this year. By 700,000 units. With Final Fantasy XIII coming to Japan this winter, PS3's price cut as well as the demand, I'm not quite sure MS expect to outsell Sony this year. It just doesn't seem plausible at all.
Good news. That 8 million gap that was touted around most of the year has been cut by 3 million. At this rate Sony will catch up by mid or late 2010. Good news for PS3 gamers...expect more PS3 support from 3rd parties.

Tordavis..the fact you had to list multiplat games to beef up the list proves how lackluster the 360's line up was. In terms of note worthy games, the 360 has had Halo Wars, Halo ODST, Forza...and that's exclusives...oh plus some ...DLC??? :/ That's hardly an inspiring line up.
Knowing Microshaft they will drop 360 support long before the PS3 is done and claim they won 2nd place, unofficially declaring the end to this gen. Those are the kind of p*ssy's they are.

Next gen? Yet 360 continues to use last gen DVD tech, no Wi-Fi(even the Wii has it) and despite having the "superior GPU", has yet to set any graphical benchmarks, which the PS2 has done twice this year.

2010...Year of the RPG.
It's the year I've been waiting for, mainly due to FFXIII being my most anticipated game this gen. But also being a PS3 owner I've got Final Fantasy XIV Online, Star Ocean International, Tales of Vesperia, 3D Dot Game Heroes, Resonance of Fate, Trinity Universe, White Knight Chronicles 2 ( I have the first one already), as well as other RPG's on Wii, DS and PSP. It will be a great year.

Well it's his job to say that. At the same time, the 360's line up of games, yes they may be good, but it's full of shooters and brings nothing new to the table.
This year, you had Star Ocean which ended up multiplat, Forza 3 (a sequel to a game we've already seen this gen), Halo Wars (A spin off a game we've seen this gen) and Halo ODST (an expansion pack of a game we've seen this gen).
Now look at the line up for 2010. Splinter Cell (a sequel of a great series), Crackdown...
So what? I'm glad. Honestly supermarkets and online retailers are the places to buy games in the UK now. Game specific stores are over charging for their games. I still see 3 year old games going for £45.
For example I went into GAME and saw Disgaea 3 for £40 when I can go on amazon and get it for £14.

Social Networking...PS3 wins. The man failed to mention the FREE INTERNET BROWSER, that PS3 has had since launch, which enables you to access Facebook,Twitter and Last.Fm, aswell as download music and movies, go on youtube and just about anyother site you want.
As well as failing to mention Uncharted 2 has INTERGRATED TWITTER.

At Mart, once again that's 360 running off of PC focused Engines. It's sad that. Real sad. Where as, because PS3 is hard to program for, it pushes devs to make PS3 specific engines for their multiplats and that's where the innovation is coming from.
Watch for example, when GT5 comes out with real time physics calculations that are done via measurements of velocity, speed and impact. And then you see Forza 3, with it's scripted damage. Now you tell me which engine is better.
If 3rd party devs are creative and have the right drive then I'm sure we can see games like Uncharted 2 from them for the PS3. Versus 13's graphics already look amazing. It's set to blow people away as long as it stays exclusive and SE don't get lazy. Then again it's questionable now that White Engine has become a mere multiplat engine.
I remember the days when it was touted as being an engine that will use 4 of the Cell's SPU's for graphics alone.
There seems to be confusion. When they say max out the Cell/PS3 I am almost 100% certain that they mean within the capabilities of their Engine and/or their resources. Because I can guarantee Killzone 3 and Uncharted 3 will look superior to their predecessors. People said the PS2 was maxed out then in 2006 FFXII and God of War II came out and everyone was like "WOAH O.o!!!"
Why would I need Sky when I have it installed to 2 TV's in my house already? Let the 360 keep it.
I would say it's equal with 360 having the slight advantage. Using my school which houses about 1500 students as a macrocosm, PS3 is more popular. But then you go to another school and I'm sure it will be the reverse of my school.
I'm not too sure. With Christmas coming up, what console selling games does the Xbox 360 have? MW2 is not a system seller as it's multiplat. Even with a bundle, it will only sell to the most diehard of fans.
PS3 is at an affordable price and with all it's advertising, I'm pretty sure Eyepet for example, will attract the kiddy crowd.
Being honest, it's between Wii and PS3 this christmas if I'm honest. Next year however it's a fierce one as all 3 systems will have their motion tech ...
