No Wada. Don't be a fool. When it's out in all regions I reckon the game will peak at around 4-5 million. LTD may be 6-7 million.
I think he's saying this to justify the decision of making it multiplat. He needs to realize that 360 sales will contribute very little the overall sales of the game. Almost all the 360's gamers I know didn't even know it was coming to 360, let alone want it in the first place.
It will sell better than other RPG's on the 360 but at the end of the day, I...
Raztad is right. You need to remember we are still not out of the economic downturn. ALL industries are suffering. PS2 gamers who still haven't moved to PS3 won't come in waves and waves because games + the console costs isn't cheap despite PS3 being affordable. Because, lets be honest, Affordable and Cheap are not the same thing.
It's at a mass market price now, but do you really think that every PS2 owners just has £220-£250 just laying around in their pockets? Nah.
You would think, what with HDTV's getting started on their way to saturating the market, HD media device adoption would be higher. I just don't understand it. Why people persist in buying HDTV's but not buying devices that output HD resolutions. It's ridiculous. It's either HDTV adoption is lower than I thought, or people are just buying them to say they have them, and not the reap the rewards of HD gaming, movies etc
It's been out on 360 for months in Japan and for PS3 even longer. This news is old as the internet.
Great news and all but I'm pretty sure, after Sony announced they were winning in Europe with an install base of 10 million. MS suddenly announce they were winning by 1 million :/
Now all of a sudden they are back to 10 million. Obvious Spin was obvious back then. Honestly, they are like children
You bots make me sick
It felt that way because it's realistic lol And besides you can turn sensitivity up and down to your liking.
No you tool. The main reason I bought my PS3 was because I was hotly anticipating FFXIII and Versus XIII. Obviously for other games but mainly for those 2. All the 13+ other games I've bought since buying my PS3 I've loved but I didn't buy a PS3 specifically for them. Going by your logic there is no such thing as a system seller. You're looking like a fool with every message you type. Just leave it there.
lol sad sad bot
Shadowfox..how is the concept of people buying a PS3 3 years ago for FFXIII ridiculous. I did just that 2 years ago and I'm still waiting patiently. The game was and still is a system seller for PS3, whether it's multiplat or not.
Thank god of that. Will have to get back on White Knight Chronicles tonight and test out these features. Been meaning to use the Georama for a couple of months now anyway but been bogged down with work. Great news this is :D
I'm fine with it. As that's how it's always been here in UK/EU. White background and logo. Same with Japan. It's only in America that the boxart is changed and it's always some crappy movie poster looking character spread.
There is this little thing called a headstart. Which MS had a year ( 18th months in Europe) of until Wii and PS3 released in late 2006. A whole year of having no competition gained them a 7 million lead which has shrunk to less than 5 million recently.
It's selling strong and in the same time frime is outselling the 360. So thats how it's sales are strong
Not surprised. Sony has a 140 million strong user base from last gen. Some (and I know many), now love off of Xbox 360 but there are millions who were waiting for this price drop.
And where else will you be able to play top Sony franchises God of War III and Gran Turismo for example. Loyal fans of the series aren't just going to turn their back on those franchises.
PS3 sales will continue to grow I think. In Japan, with FFXIII a month away, they will go through the roof no doubt....
It's always been like that in Japan and Europe. We use the plain white box with the logo. It looks more stylish imo than a mash up of characters on the front like the US art. It gives FF an identity of it's own in terms of cover art.
FFXIII is going to help PS3 dominate this christmas. Sony couldn't have picked a better title to end 2009 with a bang with in Japan. FFXIII sales and PS3 sales will prove this.
I was also there and got to experience this amazing game (It was the 360 build only and unfortunately no footage was allowed to be taken :( )
after about 40 minutes of waiting for stupid kids to stop d!cking around on it. I honestly think this blows Call of Duty out of the water. Forget sales, this game pwns Modern Warfare hard.
Feels a little bit like Killzone 2, which is good as it's war like experience is emmersive.
The thing that got me is that he accused Japan of being Xenophobes :/
Does he not realise the PS3's install base sits at 3.5 million in Japan while the 360's is 1 million?
Or the fact that PS3 is the preferred system there because it's a quality built product (Japan takes no Shi1t when it comes to hardware quality) and the games available (all I need to say is FFXIII PS3 exclusive in Japan and Dragon Quest X Wii exclusive....360 stands no chance against either systems now).
...
Did it ruin FFX? I don't think so.
Fanboyism aside, I honestly hope he gets through this. This is Sad >.<
