That monster isn't in the first game. It was shown in the trailers for the first game but after completing the game I saw no trace of it, which leads me to believe it's in this game as WKC 1 ends on a ridiculous cliffhanger and there's stuff in the trailer for the first game that wasn't in there.

I can understand why there is no 360 version though. It's due to a similar reason why FFXIII is PS3 exclusive in Japan. Sengoku Basara is huge in Japan and on a system that only just broke 1 million in it's 4th year over there, it would make no sense to release such a popular game on the system.
So the two popular home consoles get the game.
but I personally don't think Natal will start a revolution. The tech has been proven to be perfectly accessible in Eyetoy, it's all about the application from actual devs. Heck Eyetoy could be a revolution if enough devs back it with proper in depth support.

This doesn't prove that Halo 3 ODST is better than Killzone 2. If that was the case WiiFit, WiiSports and all those other sh1tty peripheral mover games should have won countless GoTY awards by now.
Personally? I think Killzone 2 rapes Halo 3 in every way. It doesn't feel so arcadey and I get more satisfaction out of Killzone grittier and clunkier feel as it's more like a warzone. And it requires more skill.

I hope this was the devs choice and not yours. Stooping to MS' level to get sales just isn't the way. DLC should be enjoyed by the masses of those who bothered fork out all of the cash to buy the game in the first place. Not just a few who own a specific console.

Why would EA do this when they make more money off of Sony than they do from MS. Plus it would cut a stupid amount of their consumer base. Think about all the Nintendo and Sony system owners who would feel alienated with a lack of EA games.

seriously...once FFXIII hits Japan in December, the 360 will be irrelevant to Japanese consumers. Sony has FF and Nintendo has DQ. MS can't do anything to topple Sony's 2.5 million lead in the country.

People seem to forget that the vast majority of devs are gamers themselves and just because they develop for one system, doesn't make them a fanboy for that system unless they are Gabe or Itagaki.
This is not news worthy, but it's nice to know industry members are playing each others games. That can only be a good thing.
If gamers want to buy SCC they have a choice of PC, Xbox 360 and DS. So Splinter Cell is not exclusive. It can be bought on more than one platform and is there for multiplat. Are you so stupid you do not understand the concept? I don't care if you can't play it on PS3, you can play it on 2 other gaming platforms besides Xbox 360.

However ODST has received scores ranging from 7/10 to 9/10. On metacritic, it's score is 85. This game is not AAA. In terms of sales it will be, but that's because there are so many Halo fans that are too blind to realize how much they are being scammed.
Heck, Demons Souls has a better metacritic than ODST and it wasn't even hyped (it's 90 atm and hasn't even been reviewed by IGN or GT yet).
The only AAA exclusive 360 has this year is Forza 3 which will be something special.

Xbro's strike again. Judging by your logic WiiFit should have been GoTY 2008. Sales do not reflect how good a game is. Sales reflect how many consumers are interested in the game as a result of their own personal preferences and opinions. Whether or not the game is good comes into it but at the same time that is way at the bottom of the list of why games sell. Marketing is what sells games.

I'm pretty sure once the dust settles Uncharted 2's metacritic will be hitting 98+. The amount of perfects this game has got is insane. All I keep seeing is 10/10, 100/100, 4/5, 21/20 :P etc..with the occasional 9.5+ out of 10. Madness. Even Eurogamer gave it a perfect score. Not the mention they gave Demons Souls a 9/10.
Waiting for the infamous Edge review though. I wonder how they will take to Uncharted 2. If they gave Demons Souls a 9, this could be a good sign that they are finally...
