I'm not trying to damage control at all. If you look at my post history I'm a huge PS3 fanboy and a big fan of Final Fantasy. But I'm being realistic. The game will look amazing. But if Crysis cannot look as good as CGI then what makes you think a PS3 Exclusive will?

Well tbh it can't be that hard to beat 360's 2009, because lets be honest, it was awful. It was like PS3's 2007 but slightly less dry.

It's so easy to use it's unbelievable. The only people who find it hard are people that make it so for themselves. If you use it properly, battles are so fast paced. Trust me. Takes about 3 battles to get used to it all.

This article is bull. FFXIII hasn't been out a week and they are already claiming it's sales lag. 1.5 million copies in 5 days is outstanding and almost on par with FFX and FFXIII which had huge install bases in Japan to play with. FFXIII has a mere 4 million strong install base to sell it and it's attatch rate is almost 50%. Much higher than FFX's and FFXII's was. So why the hell is this article trying to state otherwise.
Are they sure that's Kirin? Kirin covers a much wider surface range. Could just be an over exaggerated Chidori Eisou. Anyway, can't wait for this. One of my most anticipated games for 2010.

Gosh will they give the game breathing space. This article shouldn't be here. We should look at numbers on December 24th. When the game has been out a full week. only then can we tell how much it sold in A WEEK (7 days people) and how it has truly effected PS3 sales.
Honestly, I never thought I'd say this, but some of the devs/publishers need to shift the dates of those games because the first quarter of 2010 is looking ridiculous. They will all eat eachother alive.

People stop complaining about the game going multi. Cyberconnect had no control over this. Namco Bandai are the publishers of the game and not only have the rights to the IP, but they're the actual ones with the liscence to sell Naruto games on Playstation platforms. It was more than likely their decision.
How can we lose an exclusive when it was announced multiplat in the first place.

Honestly, are devs so stupid that even they disregard PC as a gaming platform? And before people start going "ahh but it's MS exclusive". No it is not. Mass Effect does not come under Games for Windows family so I can easily pick it up and play it on Linux if I wanted to. Same with L4D.

God those games were a disgrace to the franchise imo. The awful animations and pathetically lifeless character models did it for me. As well as the combat, which didn't feel like a Naruto game at all.

Trying to damage control the great FF sales already. Many things need to be factored in.
First of all, FFX and FFXII sales shouldn't even be compared to FFXIII's, especially FFXII's.
When FFXIII was released, the PS3's install base was over 100 million worldwide. And it sold around 2 million in the same time frame as FFXIII sold 1 million. Now, if FFXIII did that on less than half of the PS2's install base, then how can anyone deny that FFXIII is selling well and even think to com...
The difference here is that Killzone 2 2005 trailer was pre-rendered visuals. Not CGI. There is a difference. I am not denying Versus XIII will look as good as the Pre-rendered scene where he talks with Stella because IT IS NOT CGI. Where as, claiming that it will look as good and perfect as say, the E3 06 trailer which was PURE CGI, just like Toy Story, Shrek, Finding Nemo...that's IMPOSSIBLE for videogames. Game Development just isn't there yet. Anyone with sense knows this
