Not surprised. There's more hype for it. Which is good. But I don't see what has players hyped for it? Microsoft has taken out the CPU, and it now uses 20-30% of the 360's CPU power meaning no NEXT GEN looking games as well as the fact it hasn't had any proper titles shown. At the moment its just speculation and Microsoft PR that's fueling the hype, nothing else. It hasn't shown anything that PSeye can't do. That's what I'm waiting for. And as such, I won't blindly hype it yet.

Its too early to tell. All I know, they'll never lead the industry. They've made too many choices in order to beat Sony and keep things cheap rather than help the industry.

My point is that both are flamebait. This article is purely fact based. It's all true. But this was established years ago. It hardly constitutes news. And it will inevitably end up a mess of fanboys. People preach about how this site is a pigsty infested with fanboys yet promote articles like this which, although all true, is not needed and not news at all. How did I know this was a Jim Sterling article. His rants about the games problems is what threw me. He clearly doesn't like JRPG's and he clearly isn't clever enough to play another beyond a shooter. FFXIII's combat system is far from convoluted. In what way is Natal a whole new ball game. What can Natal do that the competition do now that its locked 30fps, no CPU, and uses up 20-30% of the 360's processing power. What have you been shown to back this up? What killer apps have you been shown to back this up? That's right. None. Natal is nothing but hype AS OF NOW. Sony camp has something to talk about. Microsoft has yet to justify their hype as they've shown NOTHING but concept demo's.
No one is scared. I personally, just find it hilarious that 360 fanboys will defend Natal to no end. When we haven't seen any of the blockbuster titles or next gen tech that "beats" PSeye. NOTHING. Not even at GDC. It's just pure hype and speculation. And I personally find it pathetic. Until MS show games and tech that surpass what PSEye, then you guys can talk.

Yeah if they sort the lag out and put the CPU back in so it doesn't eat up 30% of the Xenons processing power. Then it will. As of now, it's nothing more than PSeye. Stop belieiving the hype and wake up. Neither are going to revolutionise gaming. Sony and MS are just playing catch up with Nintendo.
