Yeah uncharted 4 has a lot of that. I tried to punch that black chick in the face and they wouldn't let me. Why isn't it a cutscene instead of fake gameplay? They had to have diversity and equality but they didn't want you to hit a woman. So they just made you walk around getting your ass kicked for 5 minutes. Annoying.

Yeah. I like the first dead space as well before EA ruined it. They are a good developer and Hennig is a good writer/director. It's in EA's hands. Do they get the bioware treatment or are they micromanaged like dead space 3. Skate 3. A highly revered property like Star Wars can be a good thing or a bad thing. They are more cautious but also more involved getting in the middle of shit.
Beta was fun I liked it. If that's all the game is I won't be buying it anytime soon though. Too much coming out right now. Playing uncharted now, doom, witcher 3 and fallout dlc. I would buy Homefront before Overwatch. Based on value not quality. I went from never buying to buying someday so the beta served its purpose.
I don't think I have ever seen a game handled better on consoles. On PC people can change whatever they want but they brought the upgrades to consoles like half a year after launch and for free on top of that. It was little things like making a separate section for books and such but it was still a huge improvement IMO. Much respect to CDPR, they are one of my favorite developers.

I'm about 8 chapters in and the gun fights are starting to be more frequent. It's a shame it takes so long to get into them because the combat feels great. We're instead lead to fist fight women and forced to lose. The story elements in the first half are really dragging me down but it's starting to pick up and feel like an uncharted game.

Yeah but it's all about pacing as well. Uncharted 2 spread it around like peanut butter and jelly. I'm going on 7 chapters and it still hasn't kicked in yet.
People like mezati call the combat tutorial "action packed" but i don't see it and it took 5 chapters just to get there. The first scene in uncharted 2 had more action than the first 6 chapters in uncharted 4. I'm hoping the latter half is action.

I will keep playing lol. I'm just giving my opinion so far. I'm enjoying it but I can see the last of us influence and I liked uncharted 2 more than that as well.
I'm on chapter 5 and it's nowhere close to uncharted 2 so far. The action in 4 is lacking.
The graphics are phenomenal, probably the best I have seen. The pacing is so slow though, it's 100% story. It's on a order 1886 level of "story game". Mixed in with some hand to hand fights in last of us fashion. Aside from characters it doesn't feel like an uncharted game. It's an uncharted movie about the boring parts.
