Nope. If uncharted 4 was like chapter 18 or 19 the whole game then it would have been. Great chapter but unfortunately it's not like that the whole game. The first half is a drag and the characters aren't as charming as they were in 2. I'm not a fan of whiny drake either. "But I promised I gave up this life waaahh".

The action in tomb raider is better than u4. The puzzles as well. U4 beats TR in characters and gunplay. Uncharted 2 is better than both in all categories besides graphics. U4 takes that easily.

They need to get their software on a decent schedule. Nintendo games are fire but they are far and few between. If they can't get ports from 3rd party then they don't have a choice in the matter. They need to support their own hardware more efficiently.

He 100% did not make decisions. He did help with the writing/guiding the team and I give him credit for that. Uncharted 2's characters were exceptional, it blew the first uncharted out of the water. But the fact remains that he didn't have the final say on anything he brought to the table.
You can tell druckman's work. It's more cerebral and slow paced. He's atmosphere not action. He's more of a movie writer than a game writer IMO. ...
Yes I'm not talking about the platforming or puzzles (that still don't compare to 2). The set pieces can't be compared aside from the few chapters I mentioned.
I'm literally talking about the parts where you just slowly walk around talking (and there are many of them). It does apply. I wouldn't consider collectibles to add anything of substance in any game but yes I did go for the journal entries and such.
