Sony's action adventure genre has recently changed into dramatic adventure genre. Action is for teenagers and radicals. All of the games look great but I can see Sony falling back into the fianacial safety net of their slow paced narrative driven games. Maybe that's why I'm more hyped for Horizon and spiderman than the others with naughty dog pacing.

- Keeping Kratos in a different mythology. It sounded dumb at first but I like it after seeing it. Kratos falls from Olympus into Norse mythology and knocks up some Viking shield broad. The different combat is still up in the air for me though. Hopefully when you use a different weapon like the chain blades the camera pulls out and the old combat comes back. I can see the camera angle for visceral axe play.

They were too scared. I'd be surprised if they didn't go back to the drawing board to compete against Scorpio instead of getting railed by the slim. The Xbox laid out their plan for the future. Sony laid out its games for the future. I think Xbox made the bigger and more relevant announcements. Sony didn't show a lot of diversity for games still 2-3 years away. A lot of similarities in their reveals and weird reimaginings. 1. The resident evil 7 reinvention is awful. I've refrained from giving an opinion until after playing the demo but all I can say is that it's terrible. PT was much better. Maybe in VR it will be but Days gone is resident evil 7 for me.

You also get an elite controller that goes for 150 bucks stand alone. Even though it might seem like a shitty circumstance for us OG X1 owners, its really not that bad with a trade. It's great value. UHD bluray and an elite controller for 100-150 dollars.

It was a heavily scripted reveal. It just wasn't a GOW3 reveal, not even close. They set that mild narrative tone for a reason, it's a different kind of GOW. The camera is much more cinematic than combat oriented. Spartan rage is some cinematic that doesn't even bother with QTEs. I'm just being honest about what I saw. I don't know what the rest of the game is like.
