Yeah it's glitchy. I'm only a few hours in but it's already froze on me twice and there are almost always random objects floating in the air. I like the characters so far, too bad it's not a real mafia game. The opening is great, it should have been a black mob story.

Those characters didn't hit anything on that checklist for me. I mean Saved by the Bell is cool and all but it's a gears game. The opening with dom was good, the parts with Marcus were good. Yes. Iron man mode is the only way to play though. If you save scum you will never get passed the first couple hours of the game. Accept that all of the hard work and devotion in your characters will get ripped away with one dumb move. It is fucking difficult and hard let your people go but it's going to happen. It's frustrating but that's half the fun. It's a strategy game and it absolutely derserves attention on consoles.
The gameplay is fine, it doesn't need drastic change. The story was the issue. The characters just aren't likeable. The camaraderie is childish and weird. Yeah, it's the small details that make it one of the best written games of all time. Like realizing that Fontaine set up the elaborate ruse of his family getting blown up by Ryan when he was the one that blew up the escape pod to make the player trust and sympathize while forcing them down a certain path.
