I disagree that it fizzled out towards the end of infinite. Yeah it wasn't as good as bio1 but that's because we weren't expecting it then. We went into infinite fully expecting a twist and I think it delivered. It left a lot up to theory and the bioshock community delved into that. It's hard to surprise someone when they are expecting it but I think it accomplished it's purpose. I didn't like infinite gunplay as much though.
