Coming from hundreds of hours of the likes of DayZ (SA and mod) and ARMA 3 with Breaking Point I feel that PUBG is basically that but just all PVP. Even feels nearly the same.

The first game also got a pretty decent graphics overhaul with one of the DLC/expansion thingies. It looked worse than it did here for a good bit after release. Still a pretty good looking game...world scale is amazing.
Definitely interested in the second. Sure, the first isn't something I play all the time but I certainly got my moneys worth. Now it has planes? Yeah, I'm down.
This reminds me of that balloon popping game Jerry plays from Rick and Morty.

I mean, I like the game! I'm not even a hater...but they did lie about MP and having other people in the world with you. What's with all the disagreements? Did everyone but a select few lose their memory over what happened with this game?
People like you seem to forget that this game was announced like three years before it released. Once we actually FINALLY got the game it was a mere shell of what it was SUPPOSE to be and had a fraction of the features we were told it would have (a lot of them we were even told multiple times by the head honcho himself).
Sure updates...nearly a year later...have added a lot of content but even then it's still not near what they were showing and talking about years ago. ...

I resent this statement. As I remember it, it was the consoles getting hard drives (i.e. Xbox 360 and PS3) and online services (Live and PSN) and having the ability to update games that created this whole microtransaction/DLC filled playing field we're on now.

I agree with you! While having enemies that killed me previously recognize me and say something "Haven't I killed you already, maggot?!" was pretty damn cool the whole system overall was just sort of pointless from a game play perspective.
It just didn't seem to make a difference...once we started fighting the Nemesis system didn't really matter anymore.

Also, as Bluefox said, 30fps is not "premium". Checkerboard rendering is not "premium". Saying that the console is comparable to medium-high end PC in the graphics department with a low level tablet grade CPU would be more accurate. And, yes, the same goes for the PS4 Pro as well.

I love when people say "Game X will be 4K on PC!" as if "4K" isn't simply just a resolution. A VAST majority of PC games can also technically be "4K" as well...so what?
