@Livecustoms: It's a second hand emotion.
Just hurry up and release the GOTY edition.
I've always known the difference. Sucks they've taken that away from PC players. It's just that the title and comments make it seem like something else.
We've had the ability to rent servers since Bf3 (I'm talking about consoles). Why is this an issue now?
I don't get it.
Red Dead Redundancy? I kid...I kid.
Viva le Revolution!
Arthur likes it?!?
Somewhere during development, Activision must've lost confidence in IW, hence the bundle.
It was the only word beginning with R that I thought would fit.
I hope it's a new Red Dead game. Red Dead Revolution?
@Teflon: I remember hearing somewhere that the frostbite 2 was a big ball of mess. It's why fixing one thing would break another, the glitches and why the patch sizes were big.
I think Fall will always be the big release season for established titles and sequels. Looking through the line up mentioned in the article, most of them are new IP. It would be suicidal for most of them to come out, during the fall, when they might be overlooked.
Also, instead of being rushed for the holiday season, these titles can be polished for their release date.
Well written preview.
The problem is there is only one "flagbearer". Infinity Ward used to be the lead team (back before the whole West and Zampella exodus) but Treyarch used to push them. In my opinion, IW games were better, but Treyarch games were good enough to cause resentment amongst Infinity Ward. But, sadly, the new team at IW has not shown they are up to task, which is sad. I know there are people there who worked long and hard on the game, but, feedback has been a mixed bag.
I'll never understand why people like to hack games.
@Zombiesfeelpain: I hope that's true. Hopefully, DICE has streamlined their code because these games used to have huge patch sizes.
At this point, I don't even know why Sony released that poor thing (Slim).
Any word on the day 1 patch size?
1 and 2, yes. 3 was ok.
