@theXtReMe1: I loved RF: G, but maybe games can't handle those types of physics on a grand scale that we need. I, too, spent countless hours messing around, finding creative ways to topple buildings, but, I soon realized the game world was pretty barren because it's just too much for the system to handle. I know we're on the next generation of hardware, but I still don't think we can get the level of mass destruction that we want.
Titanfall 2? Bad scheduling. Infinite Warfare? Franchise fatigue. Dishonored 2? Not the genre type that should have seen a fall release. Watch Dogs 2? Maybe people were burnt on the first one. Gears of War 4? A little bit of everything listed before.
Damn. That sure was a one in a million shot.
We don't know the Origin numbers, which is digital download.
It's almost as if they saw a path to generate money and took it.
Please specify.
It creates an unfair advantage.
How did Xbox change the game? It gave Sony a veritable competitor for the same demographic of gamer after Sega left the console business.
Dear Activision,
Don't mess with MWR. Besides requiring Infinite Warfare, this game was done right. Don't mess it up.
@2pacalypsenow: Parity clause is for games released first on Playstation. Bf1 was a simultaneous release.
(Timon's voice): It starts...
I think the biggest sign of it's disappointing sales is we have yet to hear Activision do their "Biggest entertainment release ever" or some spin like that.
@Errorist76: I've read the single player is fun but the seamless multiplayer REALLY messes up the frame rate.
@NukaCola: Or...you know...the multiplayer is broken for a lot of people.
It still has a consistent number of players online. I think it was done right.
@kevnb: PC gamers have long directed their anger at Activision because the game is a console to pc port. Also, they've been trying to get dedicated servers forever.
@Kaneki-Ken: Could you link your source? I'd like to read up on it.
Very good to below average, depending on who you ask.
Are you sure about that? All I could find online is that MW3 is the highest selling at 31 mil. I remember there was a recent article where Activision said BOIII just surpassed 25 mil.
Pay attention, EA and Activision.
