Haze was a flop, so why bother porting it over to the 360, same applies for The Last Remnant, which is probably why we'll never see it on the PS3, even though it was planned beforehand until panned in reviews,and SCC appears to be way above those games
No, Uncharted did NOT have an install of any form
I did for a sec, till i recalled reading about the uncompressed texture tech used in this game, along with killzone 2 and RAGE, which is required to be streamed off the disc, which is why the PC version of RAGE is also on 2 discs as it cant be installed onto the HDD
Unfortunately you can't, though it would be far more friendlier to allow external HDDs for mandatory installs if the PS3s fills up and for those who are too afraid of tinkering with internal HDDs in case something went wrong, which i was actually daunted by till i actually replace mine and lo and behold it was a piece of cake and recommend everybody upgrade without fear of damaging anything, its as easy as switching game discs, only it involves a few screws

Aah so there will be NO mandatory install as neither did DF, and apparently neither will GoW3 as i recall reading in an interview with the director in which he was rather proud of, either way the games will still be awesome
Same with infamous, the install took no more than a minute and rest of the game is loadscreen free

Well judging by past MS timed exclusivity deals, they normally expire a year after their release, so 2011 would be when this hits the PS3 lol
Even if it does land on the PS3, it wont be day and date with 360/PC, MS have mostly likely got this on lockdown for atleast timed exclusivity no doubt.

I think its to simply reduce manufacturing costs
With a target of 13 million by the end of sony's fiscal year and with currently a decline in sales from this time last year its the only plausible solution. Their value card isn't working anymore because nobody knows except the internet guys and they suck at advertising, so they'll have to go with the more direct approach, if they want to reach their target of 13 million and cut the price or introduce the slim.
Yeah, they'll need that extra stock to ensure theres enough for the japanese release of FFXIII and hopefully a worldwide release of GT5
I hope if there is this Price Cut/Slim, that its accompanied by GT5
Yeah, i agree, but you have to remember the effort sony's first party devs puts in, to have those games looking like visual marvels

Obviously it won't look as good as KZ2 as it runs at 30fps and MW2 at 60fps, but either way its no ugly game
I see the dismemberment is still present but its followed by a gush of purple mist with traces of blood as the floors covered with it, rather than bursts of purely blood, still looks good though
